We had a wonderful holiday, the villa felt very safe and clean in our new Covid world. The villa has all the amenities that you require and is perfectly positioned overlooking Siena, with the convenience of a bus stop just outside the house with very quick links to the City – so leaving the car at home and waiting for the bus to arrive was a visual pleasure! Francesca is a delightful host, who goes that extra mile to make your stay in Siena pleasurable with an abundance of guidance and support, always responding to any questions very quickly. One thing to mention, the beautiful gardens and extensive land are part of the Tuscan countryside (we had freshly picked figs daily) so take lots of Mossie Spray! I hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we did – we look forward to returning…….

La casa è strutturalmente molto bella e il relax assicurato. Devo dire che aggiornerei e sistemerei un pó alcuni dettagli dell'interno (alcune tende rotte, tapezzeria che si stacca, la lavatrice vecchia). Francesca é stata gentilissima e ha risolto sempre eventuali richieste/problemi. unica pecca della casa: é difficile mangiare in giardino (la cucina è lontana e di notte c'è pochissima luce). Piscina perfetta.

We had a great week in this characterful house, very spacious with a lovely infinity pool - beautiful views over a verdant valley. A five minute drive into the middle of stunning Siena, which has plenty of great restaurants. Apparently you could walk it in 20 minutes but it was very hot and rather hilly! Great local shop/pizzeria 5 mins walk away. Great restaurant recommendations from Francesca. Surrounded by amazing wine country of course, though sadly we couldn't book a tour because of Covid restrictions limiting numbers, so book early. Downside: crying out for a nice/paved outside seating area - the grass/ground around the pool is very rough so you need to wear shoes. Be prepared for mozzies.

The villa is beautiful and exactly as listed. It is immaculately clean, well stocked with everything you could possible need, and has large gathering areas with working fireplaces (which came in handy in the coolness of late October). For warmer weather the villa has a pool sitting in the midst of olive trees and an infinite view of Tuscan hills. The house is full of family memorabilia and history, and we had fun browsing the photos, books and found art objects in every room. We had a wonderful time! This is an ideal location. You feel like you are in the middle of the Tuscan countryside - and the views from the upstairs windows is of rolling hills and olive trees - but you are so close to the center of Siena. There is a small local market within a easy five minute walk which we used daily for necessities and a chance to meet a few local residents and eating a quick meal. The property is large and so picturesque. There is a bus stop right outside the gates of the villa that makes day trips in the immediate area easy and so convenient. Our hosts, Francesca and Francesco are delightful and truly made our trip special. Not only were they "there" by text anytime we had a question or need, they also arranged a couple of days that were highlights of our trip - a day of horse riding in the hills with a beautiful lunch afterwards, and a cooking class at a local farm where we had the chance to eat with the owner and family and see their cheese making, and meet their sheep, pigs, working dogs, and chickens. Francesco helped us get to and from the train station, and Francesca provided us hints for best ways to travel beyond Siena. Francesca told me she wants her guests to feel like they have a friend in Siena - and we absolutely did and do! The house is ideal for families with spacious bedrooms, large and well appointed bathrooms, and plenty of spaces to gather and relax. Don't hesitate to stay here - and you will find new friends in Francesca and Francesco.

Francesca and Francesco delivered amazing service in their beautiful villa. We enjoyed a home cooked meal with several accommodations needed to our menu on our first night in beautiful Siena. They made several recommendations and tours are available. Siena Center is close and we enjoyed the food, people watching and the shops. Something for everyone. We spent a day relaxing at Sangiovani Thermal spa, highly recommend! Francesco took us into Orvieto and was a lot of fun to spend the day with as he took us to our next stop on our tour in Rome. Pool is beautiful and we enjoyed a great night sleep in their comfortable beds.

Such a great place. Slept 10 comfortably. Fully stocked kitchen with a lovely infinity pool. 20 min bus ride to Siena. Francesca was a delight to deal with and even booked us dinner for the first evening and brought us home made tiramisu. Fans in each room kept us cool. Very clean well functioning amenities. Thanks.

Abbiamo soggiornato durante la settimana del palio vivendolo intensamente come senesi. Ottimi i suggerimenti di francesca su come muoverci e raggiungere anche posti fuori dal circuito turistico. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à la villa . Le charme d'une très grande maison de famille, une piscine de rêve, un calme incroyable, un accueil si amical. Francesca est une hôte parfaite, toujours disponible et de très bons conseils. Elle a organisé à notre demande un dîner de fête pour un événement familial. Une soirée inoubliable ( la qualité des produits cuisinés, le chef s'adaptant à notre tempo, l'ambiance , le service ...). Nous espérons vivement avoir l'occasion de revenir !

We had an amazing vacation with family and friends at this lovely property just outside Siena. The spacious with gorgeous infinity pool had everything we needed . Host Francesca Vigni anger husband Francesco love nearby, and were immediately responsive with questions, and suggestions for outings, restaurants, where to buy groceries, etc. we could walk into town (25 minutes) or take a bus right outside the villa, or take a taxi—all very easy. There is a charming and very good pizzeria/bar five minutes walk from the villa. We had the most relaxing and fun vacation in this wonderful part of Italy, Bella Toscana.

I cannot rate this villa and host, Francesca highly enough. The villa is stunning and in a fantastic location both looking over the Tuscan countryside but closely accessible to Siena centre. The villa was very clean and grounds well maintained. Francesca was simply amazing and it felt like meeting a friend by the time we arrived. I highly recommend the additional services provided, the transfer from the airport was really helpful and meal cooked in the villa was a really special experience not to mention some of the most delicious food of our stay. We hope to come and stay again.

The view from the Villa is spectacular and was able to accommodate our group of nine easily. All rooms are clean and comfortable. The infinity pool was such a treat especially after long days of touring in the heat. The property is amazing and provides a feeling that you are miles from civilization. Even more amazing is the short walk up the drive you can see the wonderful city of Siena. Yes a bus stop just outside the Villa will take you to the city core only 3km away. There is a pizzeria and small market within 400 m and provides convenience. Well what can I say about our Hostess and Host (Francesca and Gino). Francesca runs her own tours and is so passionate about her work. She organized an amazing wine tour to Montepulciano and Montalcino, organized a day day trip to Florence which included the Uffizi. Francesca is well studied and was able to provide us with all the depth and wonder found in the arts. Gino is a fantastic chef and we hired his services for the meal of a lifetime, because the food was delicious, company unbelievable, and of course the wine. You are close to many wonderful places to visit. We went to Monteriggioni., Assisi, Perugia, and San Gimingnao as well. You can make your holiday as busy or tranquil as you like. Beautiful property with an amazing infinity pool and view of the countryside. A great place to watch the sunset and enjoy a relaxing glass of wine. Siena is easily reached in 10 mins by bus which stops at the top of the lane. A good central location to enjoy day trips in greater Tuscany. Francesca and Gino were wonderful hosts. Francesca can provide all the extras you may require for a great trip, from car rental, pick up at airport, tour guide for day trips to wonderful chef nights. Pizza night with chef Gino was lots of fun and the pizzas delicious. I have recommended this place to our friends and aquaintences without hesitation. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful 9 days.

The villa is lovely, very old world with all the modern conveniences. The villa is located on a hill just outside of Siena with beautiful views of town in one direction and the country side the other way. A short municipal bus ride gets you to town in less than 15 minutes. We were able to sleep 10 without difficulty and we had 15 people at dinner one night all at the same large dining room table. Francesa is wonderful. Very honest, transparent and helpful. Francesa rented us a car while we were there, saving money and many hassles. She is also a licensed tour guide and we hired her for a day long tour of Firenze. It was great. I strongly recommend this place.

Parfaite maison pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis! La maison est magnifique, parfaitement équipée et très confortable. Idéalement placée pour rayonner dans la Toscane et près proche de sienne pour une découverte approfondie de la ville. On apprécie son calme et sa vue splendide depuis la piscine!

We had an amazing time in this Villa. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and the kids loved it. We loved drinking wine and enjoying the incredible panoramic Tuscan scenery while they swam. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of everything in the kitchen/dining areas. Francesca was kind, helpful and super responsive. This lady can seriously do anything... she's a wonder! We had a terrific time.

The villa is a beautifully resorted old home in a perfect location with a view of the old city of Siena from the front yet endless valleys from the back.

The property was fantastic, better than the pictures: large, peaceful, It had everything we could possibly want. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. The garden area has a big swimming pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside: terrific! There was also a barbecue and a big table to eat in the garden. Large bedrooms no air conditioning but the house is really fresh even if outside was so hot (the owner said that tuscan big walls don’t need air conditioning and was thrue!) We had a fabulous holiday at Villa il Boschetto and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Siena. Linda Myrich

Villa il Boschetto is a gem: it is located close to the city center buti t seems like to be in countryside: it is loaded with amenities and privacy, really a gem. I couldn't say enough good things about our hostess Francesca: she speaks a great english and is so friendly and helpfull, she made a reservation for us and prepared a special sea food dinner with her husband who has a restaurant in Siena. This is truly a place I will recommend to all my friends, and if travelling to Tuscany you should not miss.
