Location central to town. Easy to get to restaurants etc.

Nothing we didn’t like too much. A more extensive breakfast option would be preferable… perhaps hot food. We had breakfast one day and it was nice but we weren’t persuaded to eat each day.

It’s a beautiful hotel.

The location is excellent for exploring the town as was the front desk team who recommended two excellent restaurants to eat at. The off-road parking is very useful.

The breakfast was not so good, with poor staff attendance. The egg with breakfast consisted of boiling your own egg! The interior design of our room was pretty awful with green walls and huge golden fish being the dominant feature. The hotel needs a refit and the quirky breakfast requires a rethink.

to be perfect it could use some additional pillow options. the shower spray can escape the lovely triangular bath and there did not appear to be a drain hole for the spilt water. (this is very picky and should not influence you to avoid the property.) just a suggestion for future improvement.

We had such a lovely stay! We booked on route to Pau and could not have chosen a better hotel. Friendly and welcoming, helpful with dinner recommendations and a delicious breakfast. Great location, beautiful decor and easy parking. What a find!! Lucas was an excellent host, very highly recommended!

Gosh what a fab hotel - very stylish, very good sized rooms and facilities. Bedroom was very comfortable and bathroom was a good size. Great location - central to everything. Continental breakfast was fresh, filling and well worth it. What was a stand out was the quality service from everyone- the reception staff in particular who were relaxed, engaged and focused on the customer, and very personable. I would like to put this on my recurring itinerary for every year if it were possible.

Nothing negative to comment on.

From the moment I checked in I felt that it was a personal connection. The staff cared that I would be happy. Everyone I met who worked there was polite, interested and pleasant. The room was beautifully decorated, understated elegance - I felt like a celebrity, although I did upgrade my room from the basic classic on offer.

I only spent one night. I would have liked to spend longer and I will return to Pau and stay at this hotel.

The location is perfect

No as described on booking.com. Heating not switched on, our room was cold and after asking reception to put it on it remained off, tap in bathroom broken. There is no bar you have to ask receptionist to get you one from whereever it's kept. There is no restaurant as advertised only breakfast.The lounge has a lovely open fire but despite the fact it rained for two days and was cold wasn't lit at all which was sad. Such a shame as I imagine it was beautiful when first opened as hotel. Booking.com you need to review your description of some of the properties you advertise as this was the second one we stayed at from your site and both were not as described

Breakfast opens only at 7:30 am.

Location is right in the centre of town and easily walkable to train station, main sights, restaurants and shops. Staff were super friendly & helpful. A continental style breakfast with good coffee was served in a very pleasant dining room.

Nothing, if you want an quality, authentic French hotel in Pau, this is it!
