The customer service is exceptional. The breakfast it was great. Decoration in the hotel it's so pretty and delicate. The location was good because is close to the city attractions but the street its very congested.

The rooms are a bit small and don't have any view. But it is understandable for the space.

Location is great. Although in the middle of Getsemani, it is very quiet. Hotel is very charming.

Casa Canabal was a lovely hotel for our last night in Cartagena. Staff was super helpful and allowed us to store our luggage 2 days early while we spent some time at Islas de Rosario. Extremely comfortable room, bed, & shower. Perfect location for exploring Getsemani, but also super close to Centro Historico. Thank you!

Nice location and nice common areas

I felt oppressed as the windows wee facing the hallway. U could hear everything. Was really hot and having a window for a bit of breeze would be ideal

The hotel is a very nice colonial house that has been renovated and converted into a hotel. the building itself is a very nice place to be and is very peaceful, given its in the city centre.

Sadly, on our first night we arrived back to the hotel to find several lizards in our room. We were helped by the night manager to move to a different room (which was smaller and without windows, so was a lower rate). Prior to our stay we had specifically asked to be in a room with natural light, so had we known where we would end up we wouldn’t have stayed there. The next morning we were told our original room needed to be deep cleaned so we wouldn’t be able to return. We were not offered anything by way of compensation for this - indeed we had to wait the entire next morning to speak to the manager about this. As we were now in a cheaper room we needed to receive a refund for the difference between the two rooms - however we were not initially offered this, and were offered a free massage instead, which was of a much lower value. In the end, it took 16 days to receive the refund for the difference between the two rooms. It sounded like they had already had problems with lizards in the suite duplex and delux romance rooms, which is where we stayed. I would therefore recommend to not take these two rooms.

Room was very noisy with a party going on directly across the street on balcony. 3 termites fell on me inside the bed. Much of the food in brunch was gone by 8:30. Within 2 blocks of the hotel were 3 youth hostels

The power went out several times. since the clock was on the wrong time when we arrived I am guessing it happened before we arrived as well. other nearby businesses at least had generators.

Everyone was just absolutely wonderful. Really quiet despite being in the center of Cartagena in the Getsmani area 1.5 blocks away from cafe Havana.

The ground floor room felt a bit like staying in a cave. Very dark and no windows. My sister stayed upstairs and her room was great. The hotel should have a generator or at least supply lamps for the rooms that work without electricity. There were lots of power cuts and the room was very uncomfortable during those times. The front desk guy (can't remember his name) was quite rude.
