It was a home from home. Every facilities was available and working perfectly.

The watching was too close to my room, so it was a bit noisy while in use during late hour.

Everything. Their online pictures are very deceiving. Although they tried to come with a solution, it was too late. I hope that this review can be taken constructively and get them to do better. Booking.com should do thorough inspections on these premises before selling them to the public. My horrendous experience makes me weary of the reviews featured here so please take every review with a grain of salt.

There was no breakfast.

An extra blanket would have been good. I was cold at night.

Clean and comfortable

The property is located in a silent area, it's clean and serene. However the big minuses are: The heating in the room was poor, I virtually battled with cold throughout my stay. Also TV programmes( ordinary BBC news I couldn't watch) were not showing, the screen displayed " Not programmed" for all the channels searched.

The room temperature was too cold, heater was not working properly

Nice property, very clean, bedroom layout good, kitchen well equipped, Room warm with the option to boost heating when the temperature dipped which was very useful. Ensuite bathroom really clean, shower worked well with plenty of hot water.

Was sent several emails upon booking, with all room info and asking me what time i expected to arrive to check in and advising me i would be sent a key code to access door keys just before arriving, which i did not receive had to get in touch with booking.com as could not get through on contact number they provided, after 40 mins of sitting outside property in my car the problem was sorted and the maintenance man arrived with my keys. Also bad wifi connection to smart tv in my room so i was unable to watch it, i did mention this in the courtesy call i received after mix up of not receiving my keys but it wasn’t followed up.

The property managers, cleaners and handymen are all very polite and helpful and prioritise repairs if something isn't working. You can send a text message and they get back to you promptly. I'd booked a month, so it was important to me to deal with responsive staff rather than get stuck in a place for a whole month that has issues. The room has a desk and two chairs for working at home, and also has a private bathroom and its own kettle so you have everything you need for privacy. The shared kitchen and laundry is on the lower floor. The washer and drier are free, but you need to buy your own washing powder. Each guest is allocated a kitchen cupboard.

The Underwood property is a bit far from supermarkets and the train station, which doesn't bother me as I like the exercise, but if you don't like walking you'll need a car or you can take a taxi.
