The breakfast and location of the hotel were fab. We were given a drink on check in. It was my daughter’s 10th birthday and the staff left a lovely message, gift and balloons in the room which she loved!

Dogs were allowed in the breakfast area which I thought was unhygienic.

Hotel very nice and clean. Good facilities.

The security is quite loose in the area. We were witness to a robbery and police didn't care to come to the scene and investigate.

Moxy Milton Keynes is central. I liked having a Sainsburys and good restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable. I liked the layout of the room. Shower fine.

The 'deposit' of £25 requested to cover any potential damage. I have never been asked for a deposit in any hotel, not even the most prestigious. To add insult to injury, the payment stayed on my credit card and now I am going to have to spend time getting my money back!

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Complimentary drink on arrival and another complimentary drink later in the evening with nibbles was an excellent touch. All the staff were friendly in a professional manner and were very attentive. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great. The vibe in the reception/ bar area was great. I will be coming back and will also look to come and sit and work in the down stairs area.

Luxury Dog friendly rooms!!!! Just back from a nights stay and I needed to leave a review. I don't often leave them but I was so impressed with this Hotel. It's the Opitomy of affordable luxury. Modern and clean, the dog friendly rooms particularly were great! Lovely little personal touches left for us too! The two on reception were so lovely and welcoming. Plus we got a free cocktail upon arrival! All in all, the small details of gadgets and gizmos (umbrella hire, pacman arcade machine, office area with printer, computer) were great little bonuses. The underbed sensored lighting was amazing! As was the ability to have lots of dimmed light options!

Two little niggles which made me rate 9 rather than 10 were the lifts and breakfast. The lifts were awkward and unreliable. I'm not sure if they were just having a bad technical day, but the key card use to control the lifts seemed quite fickle. Unfortunately if you're a vegetarian, you may not want to pay £15 for the breakfast.. especially if you're looking for something hot. Some vegetarian sausages, mustooms etc would have been a nice touch. The continental had a great choice, including cheeses and cold meats, but even the usual hot foods that were out were sparse. Scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, beans. These wouldn't put me off though! I've already declared ill only be staying in The Moxy if I need to stay in Milton Keynes again!

Very modern, clean, and comfortable hotel, in a good location (10 minutes walk from train station). Complimentary drink on arrival, friendly staff, and competitively priced. I will definitely stay here again!

The TV in my room wouldn't connect to my device so I only had normal TV channels. I had already settled for the evening and changed for bed or I would have raised it with reception and I'm sure they would have sorted it. I couldn't get the lift to stop at my floor on the way up (this floor is disabled message displayed), just took a ride to the top floor as it was fine coming down so no real issue for me.

The arrival cocktail which is a good gesture but you couldn’t chose you own. Was more like juice.

It was clean and fresh. It was situated close to restaurants & bars, only a 2 minute walk if that.

You have to pay £10 for parking. They also take a £25 security deposit which they don’t inform you of beforehand & the room was tiny!

The staff at the bar (Jeli, April and Chloe) lead by a great team leader Ala are absolutely phenomenal. The service and attention to customer service is second to none, these guys make my weekly stay worth it every time and it’s no wonder I’ve switched my hotel in Milton Keynes. Great service with a smile and most importantly so attentive. 10/10

Really liked the casual feel of this hotel. In particular the social area had a great feel ! The staff are amazing really friendly and helpful. They helped in a big way to give the social space a great atmosphere

Shower was terrible! Low pressure and impossible to get the the shower head to face you unless you physically held it!

The location, ease of checking in and out, breakfast and the lateness of the bar (open till 2) was ideal for the occasion.

The lighting in the main area of the room was a little dim and the room itself was rather small for two colleagues as the beds were literally up against one another

Loved the modern theming. The reception area was lovely, and the rooms were lovely as well. Great location and cheap parking nearby. Cheap price and high quality.

The breakfast was fine, but the cooked English breakfast was lacking items such as hash browns etc. Couldn’t put the tv on a sleep timer either.

Warm, friendly greeting on arrival with a free cocktail voucher to use at the bar. Really nice vibe to the hotel, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely! Faves were the honey and yogurt oats, biscoff over night oats. Location is fab, bars and shopping centre just round the corner, we went skiing at the snozone which was only a 10 min walk away too. Parking underneath the hotel, secure and plenty of space. We will definitely be back, thank you :)

The room was good. Great bar manager who ordered my food quickly so I could escape to my room for work. The bit that really was frustrating was the mixed messaging about how to park in your car park. I stayed for two nights and couldn’t get a carpark space even though I was told I could reserve one. This proved really difficult for me as I have a knee injury and was carrying a laptop as well as luggage etc. also the staff, though lovely, was so young and inexperienced in dealing with questions or giving solutions to the above or indeed, the fact that a higher value was put on the credit card than the actual room booking total without me being asked. It was assumed. This was unexpected. Generally really disappointed with Moxy because of the Parking issue and I will not be returning. I stay in Milton Keynes every week for work at least 2 to 3 nights and will be going elsewhere.

Very clean, cool interior, really comfortable beds. Automatic light under the bed is very handy at night!

Nothing that we disliked really. Breakfast wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad either. The jams were in open jars so seemed to attract little flies so maybe they could use little pots instead to stop this.

Great hotel, great bar, pool table, table football, free cocktail on arrival. Breakfast was good, very informal. Staff were very friendly and the room was lovely.

The only thing I didn't like is that it's a cashless venue. I prefer to use cash generally and I don't believe in a cashless society so this may affect me booking next time.

classy location, nice facilities, rooms clean and very decor, excellent interior and lovely food, definitely value for the money, amazing location, all the clubs and restaurants seconds away, cannot recommend it enough
