Family run 300 year old buildings redtored..Nice people. Good breakfast. Interesting but challenging drive to get thete, but once there walk to everything

The staff and the owners were fantastic! They served a great homemade breakfast every morning on the outdoor patio which provides a superb view of the city below, and a beautiful sky view of the Bergama | Pergamon acropolis. Words cannot describe it. You will have to visit this hidden gem for yourself to take-in the natural surroundings.
There is nothing about this place we could find to complain about. The location provides a healthy hike to and from the city or the Pergamon acropolis.

The Hera Hotel is in the old town, within walking distance of the ancient ruins of Bergama. The owners rehabilitated the traditional Turkish house into a beautiful small hotel, keeping the spirit of the house intact. We had a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast. There is also private parking. Do not miss staying here!

Up above the new town, wonderfully restored old house within easy walking distance of the main town, good restaurants, and 10-15 minutes from the cable car up to Pergamon. Nice terrace / breakfast room with great views. Super helpful owner and staff.
Bathroom could do with a bit of a refresh...

Very convenient location, close to all amenities, teashops, etc at the top end of the main street in Bergama.
Recommend not getting transport to Bergama Otogar, as it is basically an empty shell. Rather get a bus that goes into Bergama, to the Kantor Garaj.

Fabulous hotel in the old town. It is a renovated property, so is full of history. We had a very large room with a great view of Pergamon.
The furniture is all antique and lots of nice furnishings. The bed was nice and comfortable and the room was very quiet.
Great shower and nice big bathroom.
The wifi and aircon both worked well too.
The breakfast was really great too, out on the terrace area and we had beautiful omelettes and there was a great selection of home grown and local foods.
The hosts are delightful and we felt very welcome and looked after. It was like staying in someone's home, rather than a hotel. They have done a great renovation too.

The hotel is really a boutique one, it is very charmingly and thematically decorated and furnished renovated (rebuit?) old house. It really worths climbing the very narrow streets to stay there. Speaking of streets, if you're with a car do follow the instructions they send and take the bridge which is labeled "Not for cars" otherwise you may get stuck between houses. The breakfast if very good, served on a balcony overlooking the town of Bergama. Nearby restaureant Agora is 10 minutes walking and very pleasant, the cable car station to Pergamon ruines is also in walking distance, although on steepy streets. Going there with car is OK too, but from the town's main street. Pergamon ruines are must see, the Traian's temple and the 15000 places steep amphiteatre are magnificent

This family-run hotel is in a beautifully refurbished old house. The owner is extremely helpful and attentive. Don’t miss the 2000-year old wine cellar. It is and easy walk to interesting places in the fascinating part of old town near the Red Basilica. It is located right under the Acropolis and the the view is amazing. Excellent breakfast as well.
The GPS doesn’t work in this old part of town and the GPS was inaccurate. The hotel sent directions that worked fine and the signage was easy to follow.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and even drove me up to the Asclepeion. The room was very nice with wooden floors, a comfortable bed and very importantly also a very clean bathroom. The terrace has a nice view over the town. This is also where the breakfast is served (buffet). It's located in the old Greek quarter, close to the cable-car to the Akropolis and even closer to the Red Hall. The city center is also within walking distance. It was probably my favorite hotel in Turkey so far.

Mustafa was so nice, Hera was super cute, and they also provided the best wine with the best view

EVERYTHING! This hotel is truly a hidden gem in Bergama. It's one of the few places that actually exceeds expectations based solely on what they advertise. But the best part of all was the friendliness of the staff and the wonderful view of the breakfast nook.
Nothing - There isn't a thing we'd change about our stay.

great value for money. old streets in the area to explore. authentic old building and decorations. if by car - follow the hotel signs on the road, do not fully entrust Google, follow it till the first bridge but take the next and follow the signs. avoid driving in at dark

Breakfast was just okay. The decor was cool and interesting. The staff was very friendly.
It wasn't that clean. The water didn't drain from the shower. The breakfast wasn't great and the coffee wasn't great.

The room and bed were really nice. The staff was awesome. The breakfast was great! The views were really nice.
It is located in the Old Town section where roads are very narrow. Parking is provided. However, we had a hard time finding the hotel. If you go in a certain way, the streets are wider so be sure and contact the owner for directions before you try to go down some of the narrower streets as we tried to do.

This is a beautiful hotel, the location is fantastic. The centre of town is a few minutes stroll, the Pergamon a 45 minute walk, although you could take the cable car. The views from the hotel are beautiful, this is where you have breakfast, or you can sit in the garden courtyard, equally lovely. We paid a bit extra and booked a room with a balcony, it was a great choice, being able to sit and watch the world go by. There is a communal balcony though, which has the same view. The staff are wonderfully friendly, breakfast with a view is the real delight though! We would absolutely recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Bergama itself is also full of character!
This is a 10/10 for us. Only minor issue was that the shower was warm rather than hot! Tip: if you are driving, research the route first. One route to the hotel is not drivable, the roads are simply too narrow! A second was doable (this is the way we went) but it was a bit dicey! The third route is absolutely fine!

A quaint hotel in a great location with good service. The breakfast was excellent and there’s off street parking available for a couple of cars. The owner has excavated what is now a wine cellar and tastings are available on request.
We were travelling in November and the room was cold, heating via the air conditioning was available but the system is old slow to heat our room. There was no water provided.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Great location, close both to the city center and to the old city ruins. The breakfast was delicious, which your can enjoy it with great city views. Owners and workers were very nice and helpful
The room smelled a bit of tobacco but I think it was because other customers were smoking in the next room, so not the hotel's fault

From the beginning we had a good and welcoming feeling from the staff. They were always very helpful with parking and always open to help us with questions about the area and ideas where to go.
It was an old but renovated beautiful hotel with an amazing view from the rooms in the upper floors. We first had a room in the main floor and they were very helpful organizing us one at the first floor. Both rooms had beautiful and fitting interior for the area and we felt home for 7 days.
The Terrace was amazingly relaxing and beautiful . The breakfast was served at the terrace as well, it was perfect to start the day with the view and the very nice breakfast and the staff that was preparing with lots of love and sharing a laugh and the joy of the stay with us.
Thanks for the beautiful time we like to come back.

The room (and all of the hotel, as a matter of fact) was spotless clean. Breakfast in the terrace was very nice and extensive, the lady serving breakfast is a very sweet and attentive person, we loved it. Location is perfect, very near to all the touristic attractions. The staff at the reception was very nice and always helpful and kind. All in all, everything was perfect and we had a wonderful stay!
Nothing. Everything was perfect!

Great hosts, they speak English, which in Turkey isn't always the case. You feel like come home to a relative.
Area around the hotel is not to a standard that hotel itself has.
