First, if you cannot walk up stairs, this is not for you. If mobility is not an issue, I recommend staying here. The wide view overlooking Pinehurst Lake was amazing. The decor, amenities and furniture were comfortable. The mattresses need updating especially the double bed and bed pillows were flat but we brought our own pillows so it didn’t affect us. They provide wonderful thick towels and stock your initial paper products. The A/C is great too. They had it set and we were very happy with temperature and air flow. You will enjoy your stay here! Highly recommend.

Our second 2 week stay. Just as nice the second time. Cozy, charming, with a lakeside view, this little treehouse is great for a spring training getaway.

Great location on the lake. Quiet neighborhood with lovely views of the water. Very clean and comfortable for 2, a stretch for 4 people and quite a real stretch for 6 with two on the sofa bed. Nonetheless, a wonderful stay in a lovely home.

Totally enjoyed our stay! Beautiful location, easy access to lake & golf course. The inside was beautiful and comfortable. We are definitely going back to this rental! The only thing I would suggest is to update bedding.

Overall stay was good and met our needs for location. Sleeping accommodations were fair and would encourage purchasing new linens as ours seemed pretty worn. The price was affordable and location good.

Perfect weekend getaway property. Verify WIFI access early.

This treehouse was very well stocked for all our needs. It is in a very beautiful location. It was quiet except for the big crane that scared the bejabers out of us the first morning. We are not very tech savvy and were unable to connect to the WiFi. The first sliding door was unable to be locked from the inside, so we locked it from the outside and had no problem using the other sliding glass door. There were some candy wrappers left in the dresser drawer, other than that, the place was very clean. Loved the plush towels and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay and would recommend staying there again

Fair. I would not recommend this property to friends or family. Eg - there was no Welcome packet listing WiFi code or ANY details of the property. I had NO idea there was a washing machine dryer downstairs until the last day. The locks for the sliding doors did not function from the outside. No explanation on how to use the remotes in either bedroom. The floor next to the Master bed, felt like you would fall through at any second. The deck floor was beginning to rot away. The driveway was a rut highway. All in all it served its purpose as a landing spot for golf in the area, but it was certainly not what I expected. We were planning on using VRBO in early December for a trip to Marco Island, FL.

Exactly what we needed for a weekend stay to attend a wedding at the fair barn

This is a quaint little cottage on stilts! The property was very clean and well kept! The lake view is very peaceful. We would highly recommend to a couple or a small family of 3 or 4. 2 couples might be uncomfortable since it only has 1.5 baths, but it was perfect for us! We would absolutely stay here again!

This was a very unique property to stay at! It was conveniently located for my travels, easy check in and check out and clean. It was nice to be right near the lake for kayaking. I did get some communication back from the host to answer some of my questions, however, they didn’t answer all of my questions and once didn’t answer me at all. Luckily, check in went well and I didn’t need immediate assistance. There is an ironing board but no iron and there is a hair dryer. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a quick weekend stay in Pinehurst and this was the perfect place - super clean, had everything we needed! Super close to the village and convenient for everywhere we had to go.

Nice property on Lake Pinehurst. Beautiful views. Property looks to have remodeled and everything was clean new with all of the necessary amenities 1.5 miles fro, Pinehurst courses. We will come here again in the future.

Visiting family in the area which we have done a couple times a year x many years for short visits and we like to try different places. Unique design lending to a unique experience. Found it equipped with necessary essentials, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable. We had 2 adult couples staying here. The second bedroom was smaller than anticipated but we did manage to have 2 adults share that space. We knew the 2nd bedroom only had a full size bed so we weren't surprised by the bed size but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and needs to be replaced - mattress was like cardboard and the pillows were flat. The location for this unit was perfect being close to many local attractions, it was quiet, and has a great view of the lake. We found walking and jogging in the area fine as traffic is respectful to pedestrians or a short drive to park and trails. We did not need to use laundry area and can not give feedback on that. Rental manager responded promptly to request for outdoor lights to be left on for late eve arrival but a second email on another matter went unanswered. Overall, recommend this unit to anyone who will not need to sleep in the smaller bedroom or unless the mattress and pillows get replaced which seems like an easy fix.

Everything was so clean. The only trouble we had was doing the code correctly to get access to the key for unlocking the door. The shower was great, bed firm enough. The padded stools were a nice change. We enjoyed listening to the fish jump.

This is an interesting property for creating memories, close to everything yet one you can retreat to a quiet place and hear nature with a view of the lake. Well-stocked kitchen, very clean and tidy. It has one spacious shower that is not a bathtub, if that is important to you. We enjoyed our stay and think it is a great fit for a couple or small family. Great getaway - thank you!

Quiet venue with nice lake view.

Beautiful lake view. Cute place with everything we needed inside. Would be nice to have an extra kayak and paddles (paddle was missing for the one there). Luckily friend brought her paddle board so we traded off using her paddle.
