Overton Cottage was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay

The only think we didn’t like were the overflowing dustbins in the court yard when we arrived. Fortunately we checked the collection day and moved the rubbish into the bins outside.

What a lovely house. Parking was not an issue, one car on the drive and local non restriction parking spaces nearby. Big spacious rooms with great mattresses.

The cottage is located in the beautiful village of Sturminster Newton. It has many little shops, restaurants and takeaways. It was a great base for exploring Dorset.

I was disappointed that we had to strip the beds of linen before we left. I have never had to do that before anywhere. As they were holding a housekeeping bond of £200 over our heads then we had to but I think it is unreasonable to charge such a large amount for a weeks stay and then expect us to remove the bed sheets.
