good location near centre and on Camino. very friendly and helpful owner or manager.

no food options during our stay so it’s worth checking this if it’s important to you.

Stopped for one night on my way through to Portugal. Chose El Pilar for the location and pet policy (dogs allowed). Upon my arrival I was delighted to find a very charming well presented hostal. My single room was simple and perfectly clean with a window to a pedestrianised side street and it's own small bathroom. One has to be grateful that places like this still exist for the budget-conscious traveler because one day they won't.

Located at the far end of town, clean and comfortable. Nice shared lounge area with vending machines. A garage to park our bicycles which was great.

We had to wait half hour to check in, partly our fault because we only let them know check in time half hour before we got there, even so, on a very hot day ....

good place if you just need to sleep the night on your way to a place. Easy parking, within a few kms off the high way but still far enough to be very quiet so you get a good nice rest.

wifi was not really accessible in the room, but that's not too important. they had a common sitting room with chair and good connection.

No bad odours. Clean. Well run. Secure parking for bicycles. Exceptional value.

both of our rooms ran out of toilet paper. the staff was accommodating but not with a smile!

Fabulous single room with excellent bathroom and shower. Great sleep and owner stored my bike in his garage attached to the hotel, excellent. Close to supermarket (300m) and to bars. Would definitely stay here again.

Being a Brit, a kettle in room...but that's a rarity in Spain. To make up for that there's a cube machine in the guest lounge for 80c

Having cycled 120 km, and arriving late, the owner kept the hotel’s restaurant open for me for a good meal and some cold beer. Also good room and bike storage.

Allowed me to store my bicycle in their garage and got it out for me in the morning when I had a very early start.

A pleasant and comfortable budget hotel, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with an efficient and welcoming staff.
