I had booked this hotel because of the location (in the old center of the city), not realizing it is a delightful samll-scale place with lots of quaint touches and kind service. The decor is warm and quirky and the room was comfortable with a unique layout to fit the space (not just a cookie cutter room). I go the impression that this place also really tries to operate in a green fashion. No wasteful breakfast buffet, but you can order anything you want, and as much of it as you want, and it comes looking beautifully prepared and served with a smile.
The bed was a bit too soft for me (I prefer very firm).

Zeer ruime kamer, prachtig ingericht en zeer comfortabel bed. Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig en dit hotel is echt de perfecte uitvalsbasis om het mooie Dordrecht te verkennen. De vriendelijke mensen aan de receptie en bij het ontbijt maakten de ervaring helemaal compleet.
Hoewel zeer mooi gepresenteerd en verblijvend in een zeer mooi kader, kon voor ons de kwaliteit van de ontbijtproducten nog iets beter. Maar dit heeft zeker niets afgedaan aan ons geweldig verblijf.

Sehr schöne Zimmer. Sehr nettes Personal. Mega Frühstück. Sehr gute Lage, leider war ich nur eine Nacht dort. Komme aber gerne wieder, wenn ich mal wieder in der Gegend bin.
Da ich beruflich unterwegs bin und immer meine PS5 dabei habe, ist es immer schade wenn die Fernseher so klein sind. Macht das Hotel jetzt aber keines Wegs schlechter.

Room was modern and updated. Safe environment. Close to harbor. Host was helpful and gave good explanations about how things worked. Several choices for fresh breakfast.

A really lovely hotel in a great location for exploring beautiful Dordrecht. Great, spacious room, everything in very good condition. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was first class and brought to us by a very friendly waitress in a very beautiful dining room. And there's a lovely café downstairs where they make delicious pastries!

The breakfast was excellent. The staff opened the restaurant earlier to accommodate my husband's work schedule. The location was perfect with the town center within a 5 minute walk. Many restaurants, shops and historic sites within a 5 to 20 minute walk.
Overall, everything was exceptional! We stayed five nights. We would stay here again!

no parking. and driving in, I almost drive through an illegal and ticketed street. driving around it was annoying.

Great place. The building is old and very charming. I had a room under the rooftop (big article room). Big room, very luxery (lots of pillows, a big bed, very confortable armchair and a coat rack).
There was some free welcoming sweets.
++ inclued breakfast, everything is homemade ans delicious. You can choose several plates from the menu and the waitress are very qualified.
I found the room a bit cold when I arrive, the radiators where at the low level. I heated it up and it was okay.
