Llegamos y la habitación estaba sucia, y el persona de recepcion, se entero en el momento que nos fue entregada. Se nos cambia a una habitación diferente a la de la reserva. La ducha del baño, no funcionaba, se le reporto a recepción y aun así no la arreglaron. El desayuno limitado, no habían otras opciones, además de poca cantidad. Pata hacer el ingreso al restaurante había qué pasar en medio de la cocina.

The shower in our room either burned or was freezing. The lightbulbs in the bathroom burned out and we asked to replace but nobody ever replaced them

The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful aside from this I struggle to write anything positive.

My original room wasn’t clean, the bedding was but it didn’t appear that the floor or the bathroom had been cleaned. There was a rather loud noise coming from the AC unit so I did ask to move rooms. My second room appeared to be cleaner and no noisy AC. The location wasn’t great, nowhere to really walk to for food. Although many people had commented on how good the breakfast was here, I really didn’t enjoy it at all.

super clean, and the rooms large. The decor was very funky with interesting artwork which I loved. The employees were all friendly and you could tell they loved their work and got along together. the breakfast was 10/10!

The first thing you notice is the decor, it’s unique and funky and we loved it. felt like you could get lost and find hidden treasures hidden in corners. The beds were very comfortable, the best ones from our entire stay in Costa Rica. The room was nice and big and the staff was very friendly and nice. would very much recommend to stay here

Some art pieces are insulting and should be removed. Main issue is that in the morning an employee came to our room without notice or knocking, just opened the door, took a look and left. What is that mean? Where is my privacy? I paid for that room! What they were looking for? I am glad I wasn't naked that minute. The hotel kindly offered a refund for that night, but it never happened. So disappointed!!! Also, other morning an employee decided to water plants on our balcony. So imagine you are laying down on the bed and a stranger comes from nowhere and is standing on your balcony watching you through huge window.

All the place. The Manager Jesse is the best person I met in Costa Rica. The owner is a good guy. The staff are really good people. Reason is: the manager is Good; then she hires good people and it follows.

The staff was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. It was well decorated throughout and I enjoyed all of the beautiful scenery inside the hotel. I would definitely come back again. I felt very safe

Very Comfortable bed and linens, slept well. ac, fan, refri, delicious breakfast. Beautiful artwork in the room and throughout hotel. Secure parking across the street. Very friendly welcoming staff.

This room had a large window overlooking a interior sitting area inside the hotel which was a bit odd. Ot had curtains but could hear people talking for a bit. Pet fee was $20 for a small dog.

I loved the decor, it was quite original. the hotel is actually pretty big and the bed was crazy comfy!!

they gave us a room with two queen bed and a single which was oddly confusing considering we booked for a king (we where two people)

It was a great stay overall. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. There were a lot of "interesting" paintings along the hallway and also in the room.

The breakfast was really great, but I had to wait for about 30 minutes for it to be served. In the end, I had to take it to go as I was running out of time in the morning.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area from San José. Super friendly staff and amazing breakfast. There are some restaurants and supermarkets in the area, but be aware that this is not the area where San José's nightlife is happening (which, for me is a plus).
