The property is close to attractions, travel time was no more than 20 minutes.

Property wasn't clean. Dirty spots on walls, baseboards, blinds, doors, comforters and sheets. Sticky spots on the floor in the laundry room. Mattress pad in the master bedroom had what appeared to be blood stains and two other types of stains. Microwave was dirty. Hairs on the towels and some sheets. Spotted a couple of roaches one on the counter in the kitchen and one on the floor in the living room in front of the table at the door. Initially customer service was apologetic and offered to send a cleaning crew the next morning. I declined because in order for us to sleep on the bed that had to be dealt with immediately not in the morning. I washed 2 comforters and about 6 sheets, finally made it to bed about 3am. Not how anyone wants to start off vacation. After speaking with customer service I found other issues and sent an email because I was too upset to speak to someone again. The first email they sent about the issues was very nice, saying they were sorry and would get in touch with the staff about my concerns. After speaking with the staff, basically they told me I was lying about the cleanliness of the sheets (they all had been properly cleaned and they didn't see anything on them) and that the dirty spots on the mattress pads were stains which they do not replace when they're soiled. No one called to talk to me personally after I initially made contact with them about all of the issues. The house had plenty of room for my family but drastically lacked cleanliness, which there is a $300 fee for.
