We had an incredible experience at LUX Marijani! From the moment we arrived, we felt the professionalism of the staff, who were precise, joyful, and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and exceeded our expectations, and all the services provided were accurate and perfect. We also had the opportunity to try out the newly opened restaurant, which had great food and a nice ambience with live music. We would like to give a special thanks to Grace and Ally, who made our stay absolutely perfect. We will be back! Hotels require exceptional staff to represent the brand successfully.

The room we were given had so many issues- from the air on not working properly, to the sink pipe falling off, to the shower head not working, water leaking under the glass, stains on our towels and dressing gowns, basic requests constantly being wrong, being unable to walk along the beach without being pestered

The rooms and overall property is new, very neat and clean. I liked the design. The nightly activities like dancing and live music was excellent. The beach was very close and very nice.

We booked 5 rooms but none of them had beach view, we were told it was fully booked. I didnt really like the food. It had variety but few opitons were suitable. Also i thought the price is a bit high.

Marijani is a beautiful new resort - top quality construction with attention to detail in the rooms, facilities, infinity pool and restaurant. We loved being right on the beach- soft white sand, palm trees and a wide variety of flowers in the carefully planned landscaping. It was a really hot week so thankful the air conditioning was brilliant. The general manager Adi made our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations very special with sparkling wine and special Indian food favourites. Rose the head chef produced excellent food with a wide variety of styles. We really appreciated the seafood and beautiful fish. Great coffee too. Live music made the evening dining experience especially enjoyable followed by fun dancing. Very attentive staff made us feel valued and very welcome!

I loved everything about this property, the General Manager met me on arrival, introducing me to the beautiful team member who would look after me during my stay in case there was anything I needed. A welcoming and personal touch. The property and location are breathtaking, beautifully designed, discretion is the order of the day. It’s located on a seamlessly never-ending stretch of pristine white sand beach with a sandbank appearing steps offshore when the tide is low (mid afternoons), the perfect a stroll and dip to cool down and see some sea life. Be careful of the few sea urchins dotted around. The beach vibe is relaxed - it’s a wide-reaching private beach with a few hotel dwellers strolling past at the shoreline. There are palm trees dotted around for much needed shade and wonderful surprises like the mango cart serving fresh, cooled mango which is peeled and cut to order styled into a palm tree design on a stick. Devine! Other than leaving the property for island tours and sightseeing you won’t need, or want to leave the hotel. There’s nightly entertainment with live music - prepare to get up and dance under the starlit sky. Which felt like a family party in a very nice stately home. There’s a well equipped state of the art gym, a luxury spa with a range of treatments and private yoga available on request. There’s nothing the team can’t provide for you. They’ll arrange your taxis, tours and if there’s something different you’d like on the menu let them know. The chef is wonderful nothing is too much trouble for his guests. The rooms were a stand out feature of my stay. Beautifully designed bathrooms, luxury beds and an impeccable evening turn down service in the evenings added a special and relaxing touch. The beds and rooms are so relaxing I chose to forgo the entertainment one evening, missing dinner by mistake.

Location, hospitality and service are exceptionally amazing. Staff are welcoming and extremely helpful…Special thanks to the managing director Mr. MATA. We’ve also enjoyed the fresh food…Special thanks to the chief. Will try to come back again.

When Arab’s influences meet Zanzibari’s designs it creates a refined architectural environment called Marijani Beach Resort and Spa: an amazing landscape, gorgeous gardens, a beautiful beach with spotless white fine sand, turquoise blue sea, and fabulous stylish rooms. * The staff was really kind and helpful. (Specially Rose). *Special thanks to the GM mr Aditya Mata for making my stay very cozy and comfortable. * The food was also very fresh and delicious, abundant and well prepared. Service along was done with warm hospitality.

* Staff: It was unfortunate that their (the majority of the staff) english for some was limited as it made communication a bit difficult as they speak swahili more. *Food: A bit salty. No fresh seafood nor meats barbecue menu was offered. *Spa: It would have been great to find that the spa offers a sauna or a hammam treatment and that the staff there is well trained as some lack practices regarding waxing treatments. * Informations: such as the fees the hotel charges per client per day must be included and shared with the client before booking not during his/her stay.

Beautiful resort!!! What an amazing experience, our anniversary was made especially memorable thanks to the team. We've built wonderful relationships with the GM Aditya and a special mention to the following staff (to name a few - they were all so amazing): Isaack, Lucy, Shaban, Mildred, Alex, Levina, Abdul, Steve and Goodluck ❤️ The resort looked after our dietary requirements. I am pescatarian and my husband is vegetarian, the food was incredible and so flavourful, and so many different options. The beach is beautiful with white sands and turquoise waters, and a sandbank that appears during low tide. The resort is situated on the east of Zanzibar so if you are able to wake up a little early, you get to witness the most gorgeous sunrise. The pool is a special feature at the resort and is in immaculate condition, we swam everyday! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, the staff spray the rooms every night so there were no mosquitos around. Overall, it was a dream holiday and would recommend this hotel to everyone we know!

Nothing really. but as a suggestion, there cld hv been a lil more entertainment activities - like probably a TT table, or some african drumming/danceing classes and the likes.

Amazing resort, beautiful beach, big pool, food is delicious and night entertainment is awesome! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Experienced Manager Mr.Adytia who is making sure that all the clients feel good! Definitely coming back soon.
