The stay at this accommodation was great. The house is beautifully furnished. You feel like you are in a gallery. The view from the living room to the garden is breathtaking. I must say that the owner must have put a lot of work into the garden, you feel like you are in a small private botanical garden with a swimming pool. The owner was very helpful and welcoming.

The road to the accommodation is dusty and stony and a bit longer, so a car is a requirement. But the accommodation is worth it, so we wouldn't consider it a significant minus. During our stay there was construction work on the property for a few days, but we understand that it was probably planned and could not be avoided.

It is second time staying at Finca el Dragonal, and for good reason! This time we only stayed two nights as we had a layover in Gran Canaria, and can confidently say it once again exceeded our expectations. Despite the shorts stay, my partener and I inmmersed fully in the countryside, enjoyed the swimming pool and the gardens. One of the highlights of our stays here is the company of a lovely cat that roams around the surrounding areas, although he does not belong to the owner. Once again, we arrived to find the house in great condition, it is clean, welcoming and the tasteful decoration makes us feel right at home. The host is hands on, and always has new suggestions of places to visit. Thank you once again Armando for such a fantastic welcome, it won¨t be our last time visiting!

An amazing place to spend quality time with our son! My husband and I enjoyed the well kept garden and art around the house while our son loved splashing around in the swimming pool! The privacy of the house mean we had all The Valley to ourselves, and made for a really good time! We would love to come back if we are ever in Gran Canaria again.

Geographical situation

Although our holidays at the Finca El Dragonal started well, it went worse and worse and ended terribly. First, we were surprised to learn that we had to throw the toilet paper in bins instead of the toilet : the smell of the bins before being filled was terrible enough to make us understand it was not clean… That was not written in the announce. The bedrooms were humid, and I got allergic symptoms, which means beds were dusty. We heard little noises in the walls during the night, letting us think that they are inhabited. There were alive ants in the plants in the living room, and thousands of dead ants by the sofas, which means there was a lack of cleaning before our arrival. Two cats live on the property, and the owner – Armando – asked us to feed them with the food he bought : that was not written in the announce. On top of that, those cats kept mewing to be fed : it was so loud that we could hear them through the closed door. Once outside, we could not spend 5min under the sun without having a (dirty) cat jumping on us, which strongly impacted our good time here. There was a problem of water evacuation in the shower and the water became cold after 4min, which was a bit short for 2 people. There were strong smells of sewer in both bathrooms : the plumber came twice, but once the first bathroom was solved, the second one smelt. We arrived on 11th June and were supposed to stay up to 21st June, but decided to go on 18th as we were not comfortable anymore. A first complaint had been made to Booking on 13th June, and we let the owner of our decision to leave the villa on 17th June. The owner agreed to refund us the 3 nights we didn’t spend, at the condition we would not leave a bad comment. After 6 weeks trying to get refunded, we learnt from Bookiply (the company behind the owner), that the latter had already refused to refund us from the 23rd June. Very disappointed by his lies, we decided to write this review. For those interested, pleased find pictures.

Ample space inside and outside. Stunning views. Private pool. Shops close by. Fast and stable wifi. Good airconditioning (heating). Centrally located w/r to the beaches.

Phenomenal place. Incredibly spacious. Decorated with beautiful art throughout. The garden is spectacular not only delivering a wonderful view, being in the middle of a valley, but also a perfect sense of tranquility. Armando has really put a lot of work into this place.

We stayed here at the end of June, and were greeted there by our host Armando. Upon arrival Armando gave us a detailed tour of every room of the house as well as the gorgeous garden which is in a beautiful environment where peace is guaranteed. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the house is exactly what the pictures show and more, with exquisite decorating, lots of natural light and ventilation flowing through every room and noticeable maintenance and cleanliness. The host offered all sorts of information about the island, he gave us restaurant and supermarket recommendations and had a bottle of wine for us to arrive to. The home is very well equipped with bedding and good quality towels, outdoor towels are also available for the hammocks. The kitchen which is immense has all sorts of utensils and dish-wear, also comes with the basics to cook like salt, pepper, olive oil and spices. We were able to get a very good rest thanks to the comfort of the mattresses and the silence that comes with such a secluded property. We will undoubtedly be returning to this marvelous property, thank you very much for everything Armando. One more thing to keep in mind is it will shortly have a swimming pool installed, which is a great add-on to such a good house.
