Easy check in, clean, fresh, new, good location. Friendly staff.
Nothing, however if you can get a room away from the main road. They are all sound proof however we were happy we got one at the back of the property.

Modern high quality accommodation with spacious, air conditioned rooms at a reasonable price. Probably the best in Murchison if you are looking for modern new build accommodation or something special above the norm in NZ.
Difficult to comment on the down side as I didn't find anything and I booked this as it was high quality accommodation

We were upgraded which was fabulous.
We asked to stay 15 mins after checkout and we're told clearly it wasn't an option.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises so I had to walk to the main road to smoke.

Great place to stop over between Christchurch and Nelson. Comfortable, spacious suite with everything we needed. This would be our choice to stay in Murchison again.

This is a fairly new property with modern amenities. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a family suite which was large and had a nice spa. The king size bed was very comfortable. The place was spotless and had everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend.

A bathroom fan was left on overnight in the next door apartment which backed onto our bedroom. Was an annoying sound. But not much the Motel could have done about that.

How new it was
Our unit was facing the road and quite noisy, it was also not close to the parking spaces so quite a haul across the grass to our unit. Our friends who also stayed had a carpark right outside their unit. Layout of such a new motel hadn't been well through.
Unfortunately, in the morning the motel was impacted by a burst water main elsewhere in Murchison, the communication was not great from management and the apology (although not their fault) was not volunteered readily or any alternative options/suggestions given.
