The location to the City Centre was great its about a 5 minute walk into the centre. The Ushaw gallery is also very close by. The room was a good size and clean. Comfortable bed and the wash facilities in the room were great.

The tv aerial didn't work. The shower room is a long way up the stairs to the top floor. No free daytime parking nearby so plan ahead. There are carparks close by but make sure to pay as I saw a few parking tickets.

everything! Really bad experience. Padlocked keypad for key. I had been travelling for 2 1/2 months and didn't have the padlock access code. Couldn't use my phone as it was only working with accommodation wi-fi. Kind shopkeeper next door loaned me his phone, but their (P&S) phone number kept on saying they were unavailable. Went to a Premier Inn hotel nearby, and they got the same result for the hotels supposed phone number. Very kind Premier Inn staff went to bookings.com for me, and after a lot of haggling they eventually gave me the access code. Premier Inn had no vacancies in their 2 hotels, as I would have very gladly stayed there. This all took 2 1/2 hours to sort out, and I didn't get to my room till 2200. I could have been sleeping in my cramped car all night, all because P&J wouldn't answer their phone. In summary- ' poor signage of P & J rooms at location. Wasn't expecting a door squashed between 2 shops. .no onsite person .not answering their phone/ not available . Dodgy locks on doors .old & dingy accommodation and furnishings

Great location, close to town. Easy and clear instructions to access keys.

Shower could do with a thorough clean. Otherwise nice hot shower.

Easy check on and great communication. Location is ideal for the city as its only a short walk. Good stay overall for the price paid.

Shared bathroom wasn't clean and signs of mould.

There is only one bathroom/shower among 5 bedrooms. The property could do with another shower/bathroom. Not practical to have to wait more than 30min for the shower.

Improve on housekeeping and cleaning of shower walls. Could do with bleaching the shower. Walls are mouldy/black slime.

Room was clean, very comfy beds, toiletries and tea/selection of coffee in room, was told a key code to a keysafe to collect keys so weren't limited on check in time, very good value for money.

Shared bathroom was a little grubby, not dirty just could do with a deep clean (I'm a cleaner so I probably notice these things more) toilet and shower room/toilet are very close to other rooms so a little awkward but that can't really be helped. There was some broken jewelry and tags in the draws which could have been cleared out nothing major again as a cleaner in a hotel its something we do in every room at each clean.

Good nice sized room, comfortable sofa, large TV. I felt safe . Nice to have a fridge and also tea coffee facilities.

The shower & toilet was upstairs and a little rough around the edges I did have a good hot shower though .

For the price and just wanting somewhere to put our heads after a night out this place was an absolute bargain. Definitely no frills but clean with a kettle, tea and coffee facilities, a towel and a decent bathroom. Very close to town too.

the sachets of coffee were all with milk and or sugar. I only drink black so couldn't have a morning cuppa :(

The location was perfect, close to the bus and train stations, and close to Lincoln hospital. The room has a fridge and a microwave, making it perfect for eating 'home meals'. The host provided fresh bottle of water, extra coffee, biscuits, sugar and other things needed for the stay to be comfortable, and he still texted every now and then to ask if I needed anything else.

Nothing, absolutely perfect.

The comfy bed & the TV had Netflix & YouTube & was really big, location great would stay again

Close to city center, Spartan but very clean. Good for overnight stay
