Praktische Lage um schnell per Zug in Manhattan zu sein

Die Kommunikation ist ein Glücksspiel. Manchmal bekommt man schnell eine Antwort, manchmal gar nicht. Die Telefonnummer ist nur pet SMS erreichbar. Zu sprechen gibt es niemanden. Wir haben die Check-in Daten erst NACH unserer Check-in Zeit erhalten und das auch erst nach mehrmaligem Hinweis und Nachhaken vor und nach der eigentlichen Check-in Zeit. Bis dahin mussten wir unsere Zeit auf der Straße totschlagen - in Unwissen, ob wir die Nacht auf der Straße verbringen müssen würden. Das Kellerzimmer ist wie eine Gefängniszelle. Keine Fenster, kaum Bewegungsfreiheit. Das Bett ist durchgelegen und wackelt wie auf einem Boot. Das Badezimmer ist geteilt, überall sind schwarze Flecken. Ob es Schimmel ist oder etwas anderes, lässt sich nicht sagen. Mitten in der Nacht fangen Leute an in der Küche Radau zu machen, es werden in Brüllender Lautstärke Telefonate geführt. An Schlafen war kaum zu denken. Wie diese Bleibe für über 100 USD jemals zu einer Wertung von 8,5 gekommen ist, ist mir absolut schleierhaft. Vielleicht weil man schon viele Tage vor Checkin dazu gedrängt wird mit einer 10 zu bewerten. Dafür war wohl Zeit, für den Tür-PIN nicht.

Beware of this place as they are scamming people for money. Do not stay here if you have any other options. They kept my deposit, accusing me of breaking a chair that I did not touch. I explained that I did not use the chair but was completely ignored. I followed up again to ask if they were going to return my deposit, they insisted that the chair was not broken before my check-in and now it is. I was not shown the broken chair before I left so there may not even have been anything broken. I was in that house for less than 9 hours; I basically only used the bathroom and slept in the bed. These are very dishonest people who are preying on anyone they can.

Worst experience ever. The room got no window and the only light sourse is keep flashing dramatically. In an attempt to resolve the issue, during which I presented multiple options to the landlord. Change my room (which was clearly still available on the website), change the light bulb, and give me a refund. Even offered to give me a refund and I would operate to rebook a room. Even just the luxury of moving a little table lamp, seat lamp, so that I can at least see without turning on the lights, because at that time I was really tired and desperately need to rest. However, after more than two hours of continuous communication, the landlord did not show up at all and did not agree to any solution. In the end, I had no choice but to leave and find another place to stay, and the landlord still refused to refund the room fee even after the platform communication. I hope no one else will be fooled. No one deserve this.

Parking was very tight, difficult to find, fan turns off when light turns off, shared bathrooms so this is really a hostel.
