Very nice a great weekend.

It was a great trip, everything was provided that we needed and that we forgot lol.

Go through the 4 way stop turn left after .3? think directions were a little misleading on the left turn , seems as if it states turn right after .3 miles. just FYI for future guest. Air conditioner was out but property management was really responsive and moved us to a nicer cleaner unit with working AC. Also our original location could use some grip on the steps took a fall. could have been bad. Would not want to see an old person fall. lol. Thanks again had a great weekend.

Amazing, simply amazing. From start to finish my wife and I enjoyed each day we spent there. The hot tub was awesome, the kitchen was to die for, especially the garden sink. The bed, while not the most comfortable was still nice, but I think what we loved most was the peace we found on the mountain.

Everything was there. Just like home. Waze app brings you right too it.

Very relaxing. We enjoyed every minute of our trip.

The cabin was quaint and lovely! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit that was supplied with plenty of food.

Relaxing and quiet cabin.very comfortable

My husband and I had a few days to check out the sights in the hills of Alabama. Great waterfalls and neat parks. Cabin very close to attractions.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The cabin was wonderful and the times we spoke with Natalie she was so nice and accommodating. We will recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We wanted to go somewhere to just enjoy each others company and relax. We never left the cabin once we arrived. We took our groceries, used the grill, did fires in the fire pit, relaxed in the hot tub. It was the perfect getaway for us! We will definitely be back!!! Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a getaway!!!

Convenient, cozy, clean, adorably decorated and very well stocked. Will be back!

The only thing that we were disappointed in was that listing had that cabin had both charcoal and gas grill. There was only a charcoal grill, no gas grill. We usually bring a small portable gas grill with us but didn't because it stated that one was already there. The other thing was bottom lock by kitchen entrance needs to be fixed. It seems that it is locked but it can just be pushed in to open it even though it is locked.

The cabin is great & everything is beautiful but the shower is needing an upgrade or at least a shower head that you can get under.

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed the accommodations, including the grill and hot tub. Also, it is about a mile and a half from desoto falls and not much farther from desoto state park. Would stay here again when visiting this area.

Taken individually the following are not that critical, however taken together they diminish the guest experience. No stopper for bath tub and the shower/tub control is stripped and nearly impossible to work Oven is filthy and smoked up the cabin Took me 20 minutes to clean the gas grill in order to use it and it is is very poor condition. All outside furniture needed cleaning There is a drawer missing from the dresser in the primary bedroom and the door to the kitchen does not close completely The oven handle panel is ready to fall off Both bath night lites were burned out and we had to buy new bulbs I should also mention that we accidentally broke one of the 2 wine glasses and purchased 2 new ones for the next guest.

We stayed here to break up a drive between St Louis and St. Petersburg. The place was nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was neat and we took our dog on walks around the area. There is a little trail to walk not too far from the road. Owners were responsive with communication. Would recommend this place.

This property is located in an area convenient to area state parks. It is quiet and very peaceful. The hot tub was wonderful, and the master bedroom is dark, so it is easy to sleep late. The owner met us as we checked in, and the information given to us made check in/out an easy process. Basic goods were stocked for cabin, and the front porch is a great place to sit. I might suggest that cookware be updated and organized better, but we didn't need much anyway. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!

We had a wonderful weekend - the cabin was so charming and stocked with everything we needed! Very clean, with a comfy bed and so quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Close to everything in Mentone and DeSoto State Park. Cabin had plenty of room for our family and we had everything we needed at the cabin for our stay.

This was the cutest, cozy little cabin in the woods! Easy check in, Property manager was friendly and helpful. So much to explore near by. Mentone is a cute little place to explore. Make sure you check out the other worldly gifts shop downtown for some amazing homemade soap. Would definitely recommend this cabin to friends!

Unfortunately we had to postpone our trip. One of the owners, Andy worked with us and was able to accommodate us. It was certainly a pleasure to talk to him. For future rentals, we will highly consider booking again with him.

Really enjoyed staying in Hoots Hideaway. The cabin had everything you needed for your stay. Good location. Quiet beautiful scenery. Very close to Desoto Falls. Owner was easy to communicate with. Pictures on website are spot on to the look of the cabin.

Very easy to follow directions to the property and check-in process was just the same. Chris Harris is a very honest person and excellent host. Went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were fully happy during our stay. The cabin is very spacious and beautiful! Led color changing lights & little waterfall feature in hot tub were something my husband and I both loved. I can only tell you about the king size bed cause that is the only bed we laid in during our stay but let me tell you it was very comfortable and roomy. Love the artifacts and small touches in the cabin that made it very unique to other cabins we have stayed before. We have been on many trips and stayed in several cabins through the years together and we both agreed this was the best one we have stayed in yet and with the most comfortable bed ever anywhere. Can't wait to tell our friends about it and to return in the future! Thank you Chris Harris and Andy Martin for a wonderful experience!

I’ve stayed in cabins all across the Mentone area for the last 15 years- by far the worst stay ever. I could go on and on about the stay- but take it from me- find another place.. if you need any help with other properties in the area - please reach out. I’ll be glad to help you out. I’ll definitely be sharing all of their other properties to all my social media accounts to warn them about these owners.

Enjoyed the house. It has everything you would need. Quite neighborhood. Just the place to stay to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Conveniently located to Mentone and other activities in the area.
