We did enjoy our stay. However, felt a little mislead by the pictures of the property. There was a cabin/house next to the cabin we stayed in that I would consider too close. They also had a a ton of cars and people there that our parking space was limited. Couch was uncomfortable. Small tv that only existed in living room. The oven didn’t work. Overall, we did enjoy but wouldn’t go back.

We rented this property for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed the cabin while we were actually there. I say that because there is so much to do within 10 miles of the cabin that we were only there to watch the sunset and sleep. Fortunatley, we did not have any neighbors at the time we were there and the quiet there is astounding. They was an area setup with a table and chairs facing the west and we ate dinner and watched the sunset from there. Talk about a beautiful sunset! I was really hoping to get a glimpse of some wildlife around there but unfortunately we didnt see any. Once the sun went down we had a campfire in the provided firepit and had plenty of provided wood for fuel. Very peaceful and serene. We drove many places and were able to see other cabin rentals and felt as though the magpie nest was a much better choice than the others around due to the fact they didnt have the overlooks we did and had neighbors on all sides whereas ours was secluded enough we didnt see any other people while we were on the cabin grounds. We will definitely return on the next trip to Desoto. Thank you! at this place is

Great location, nice views. Comfortable bed and decent bathroom facilities. The oven didn't work. The air fryer/convection oven worked, but had to be cleaned first, as did the glasses and silverware. A kitchen cabinet door hinge was broken. The bathroom sink was clogged with hair and didn't drain well. We didn't need A/C until our last night and it didn't work. Without the maintenance issues, it could have been five stars,

Beautiful view. Clean and cozy. Great location with easy access and simple parking. Comes equipped with more than you will need for a cozy stay. 10/10 would stay again!
