We stayed here for 2 weeks and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Everything functioned properly. Very Clean.We had one very small issue with the TV midway through our stay and the property management company was very responsive and help us resolve it quickly.We even had some deer visitors!

We truly loved the home. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen. Our favorite unique spot was the upstairs covered deck with fireplace. Very comfortable bedrooms. Beautiful views!

We loved the layout of the property, the quality finishings, the lighting (dimmer switches) and the several seating areas. The beds were comfortable. The home was very well appointed and stocked with all the necessities. This is one of those amazing places that you don't want to leave. My only recommendation is to communicate that the owners request that guests remove shoes... which is totally understandable given the immaculate condition of the property! Just would have been good to know as we would have brought "house footwear". We look forward to returning!

Beautiful property that was as advertised. We come to Durango each Presidents Day weekend for a ski trip and this house was so convenient. Homey and easy with so many amenities! Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Gorgeous views! Very clean, great appliances for preparing meals at home. Great location between Durango and Silverton for easy access to both.

We spent a week at this property and was perfect for our family (4 adults, 3 children). Most of our activities were around Purgatory and north throughout the week which was way better than staying near Durango. The property was extremely clean and very well stocked. As a cabin owner of a rental property in another state, I had several takeaways to improve my property. Everything was perfect from the comfort to the views. The road in is a little off the beaten path , but the peace and quiet, along with the views, is well worth it. I wouldn’t think twice about booking this property if in the area in the future. Thank you!

This was an awesome stay, the house was amazing and the house amenities were extremely accommodating. The interior and exterior of the house was beautiful, pictures do no justice for this rental. My family and I had a great time here and enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us!

Our family really enjoyed the property. So much so they were asking when we could come back. The attention to detail and pride of ownership was so evident in the property. We only had one negative thing happen. I spotted a mouse in the master bedroom downstairs! We were able to capture it and released it outside. Needless to say it freaked my wife out quite a bit!

Our original booking had to be changed to another property due to sewer line issues in the area. The property manager contacted me and provided a list of alternate houses as soon as they knew the original booking was not going to work out. We ended up at Cliff View House and enjoyed or stay.

My family stayed here in July for 4 nights and had a great time. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and new, the kitchen was stocked with sufficient cookware, the surrounding environment was lovely--all around great experience. I would not hesitate to return in the future.

The house was spectacular and the views were even better. My wife and I had a relaxing weekend stay at this house in Durango. The place was clean, modern and well-stocked. The views from every room were simply breathtaking. Communication with the hosts was clear and easy. We'll definitely be back!

The house was absolutely beautiful and comfortable! It’s basically everything we would want in our own mountain home. The host left us some local jam and chocolate from the area which was delicious and greatly appreciated. The road leading up to it sucks but staying in the house was totally worthwhile. It’s about 35 minutes into town. We definitely recommend staying here and would do so ourselves the next time we return. Thanks!

This home felt private in the gorgeous surroundings but with easy access to Purgatory and Durango. The views from every window are spectacular. The decor is comfortable rustic elegance. It is equipped with everything you need and even things you didn't know you needed! We really appreciated the book with the owner's shopping and restaurant recommendations. The floor plan is perfect, allowing everyone to be together or have some private space if they need it. You can tell this new, clean home was designed and decorated with loving care. We loved our stay here and will be back!

This house is beautiful. No short cuts were taken, everything is very high end. The pots and pans for cooking were great, the beds and linens were wonderful, the upstairs fireplace was such a beautiful place to hang out. All of the windows! The views were spectacular, you are truly in the mountains! Two families stayed together - 4 adults and 4 young children, plenty of space for everyone. We all had a wonderful time and cant wait to go back!

Wow! Not only was the house comfortable, we all enjoyed the beauty of Castle Rock and the surroundings. The nights were cool so we utilized the fireplace which really is a nice feature, on the deck and in the living room. The house is very well equipped but you should plan and making a trip for a few house provisions, i.e. Trash bags, paper towels, tissue. We are already talking about next year. This place was nothing short of perfect! Initially, from the pictures, we thought this was in some type of complex, we were exstatic to find out that it wasn't. You're literally a mile off the main road in the forest. You pass a few houses on the way but nothing in sight from the actual unit. The place was decked out with everything, appliances were top shelf and the owners did not cut a single corner! Floor plan was perfect as well. Don't see how anyone would be disappointed booking here!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed at. Everything was immaculate and convenient; nothing was overlooked to make our stay comfortable. The floor plan is great and there are amazing views from every window. We especially loved the upstairs deck. We didn't need the outdoor fireplace, but it is a nice touch. Apparently it is hard to light. The only thing missing is a hot tub!

This home was beautiful and the area was perfect. We loved so many aspects about it but it had a few issues that should have been addressed. We tried to have them fixed through the management company, but they were not helpful. When we arrived at 6:30 pm, it was very hot in the house. We didn't know if it had air co, but discovered it was turned up to 78, which made the upstairs about 85. We called the management company but agreed to turn the thermostat down and see what would happen the following day. We set the thermostat on 70 and the upstairs eventually cooled down after 2am because the windows were opened. I waited two days and the air co just couldn't cool the house down, especially the upstairs. There was no ventilation in the bunk area and the guest in the upstairs bedroom that had a ceiling fan was very hot and miserable, as well. We both kept the bedroom doors open for ventilation. Again, with the windows open, it cooled down way after midnight, which made it difficult to fall asleep. When it had cooled down outside, we had hoped to use the outside fireplace which is located on the second floor. The instructions in the book said it was challenging to light and we would find the instructions upstairs. We looked for the instructions and could not find them. I called the management company again, about the air co and the fireplace and they said sometimes they do something to the air co to prevent freezing and they did not have notes on the fireplace. They did not send anyone out to check the air co and they did not contact the owners to find out how to turn on the fireplace. I just wonder if the air co could have been a simple freon fix or a simple cleaning of the unit. I realize it was a warmer week in the summer, but I would have been happier if the management would have at least attempted to fix these issues. Other than these issues, it was a wonderful house!
