We absolutely loved this apartment, the location was the best to be able to look out the window to downtown was awesome. The apartment was so quaint, perfect in every way we will definitely stay there again.

The location and apartment where very nice. Is located right down town, but you only have a street view…no bay views. The parking space is about a block and a half away next to a car parts store in a dirt lot and then after walking your luggage to the location, you have to climb 20 steps straight up to get to the apartment door. By the time we reached the apartment door we were worn out. This is why I say Not for seniors!

Location was great and everything was easy. Parking was close, footbridge, walking around town. Catch the breeze and music in the evenings just floating through the windows. Place was clean and everything in working order, pictures are accurate. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience. It was so fun being able to walk everywhere in town instead of driving. Everything was clearly communicated and efficient for checking in and out and advance. The only two things that were minor were we couldn’t get the tv to work and there were small little ants in the bathroom and living room that were around. Not sure where they came thing! I would stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in booth bay harbor. It was perfect for our family of four with two small boys!

What a cool place to stay. Right in the heart of Boothbay Harbor. Park the car and you can walk everywhere! The unit itself was immaculate, comfortable, and well appointed. We didn't want for anything. Convenient laundry right in the hallway and only 2 other apartments in the building. This was a really special stay. Thank you so much!

We were only staying for 2 nights, and in our experience every Airbnb we have stayed at always has a small stash of those items. Also, the guests upstairs from us left their trash in the hallway outside our unit, and we received quite a rude note on our door that said we couldn’t leave the trash in the hallway. We didn’t know who the note was from, so we couldn’t even respond back to say the trash wasn’t ours. So please provide guests clarity on what to do with the trash, so that other guests don’t get blamed.

Our family of four, children 8 & 10, stayed at this perfect location for 2 nights. It was a mini stop on our coastal trip of Maine. Walking distance to all the great restaurants, ice cream and shopping.

Perfect weekend getaway
Our family of four, children 8 & 10, stayed at this perfect location for 2 nights. It was a mini stop on our coastal trip of Maine. Walking distance to all the great restaurants, ice cream and shopping.

We have enjoyed our stay here for two years, but both times, there were no instructions whatsoever for either television. The living room tv, and the bedroom tv each had three remotes and no amount of effort was successful. Last year, the owner had to fix the problem. This year, we needed the tv because of all the rainy weather. We got a lot of sympathy from Turnkey but it was never resolved.
We likely won’t be back to this delightful place because we don’t feel full price is worth anyplace without television.
Otherwise, very clean.

We have enjoyed our stay here for two years, but both times, there were no instructions whatsoever for either television. Wonderful, clean, beautiful, well-located
What a lovely stay we had! The place was spotless, well-appointed and perfect for my mother, my wife, and me. We loved being in the center of town -- everything you want is right outside the front door. The only thing to note was that people are loud at night on the street but that's what earplugs are for!
We'll definitely be back at some point!

This spot was clean, safe, right in the heart of Boothbay. It did get hot during the day because there was no air Conditioning. At night we could open windows for a nice breeze. We stayed out all day and waited for evening before we returned to avoid the stifling rooms.

The overall condition was good - and the items under the control of housekeeping were fine. It was some underlying issues: There was a problem with the bedframe causing the bed to tilt; the light over the kitchen sink not functioning; the drain in the bathroom sink needed repair; the portable cooler (for picnics) had mold in it; some of the dishes/ utensils should be replaced; the a/c unit was still in the bedroom window letting in cold air. Most of that is wear and tear and I get that. The problem is, when I called Turnkey toward the end of our stay and it was humiliating! The person on the phone asked why I did let them know at the beginning of the week when they sent the email on asking about how the cleanliness was. That email could only be responded to multi-choice - and cleanliness wasn't the issue. I tried to explain that we didn't find all of the issues right away and that my concern was for the next person. Also, that most of those items wouldn't be found by housekeeping so unless someone notified them they wouldn't know. The person was talking so loudly and berating me that my husband could hear everything she said from across the room. There were a few other small issues that I didn't even tell her about because she was giving me so much grief over the items I did tell her about. That's why I am only giving my overall stay 3 stars - and that's too bad because it is a great location and could be a wonderful rental if the items get addressed.
