Loved it!

Best was our own dock in a nice cove and a boat ramp 10 minutes away so we could all enjoy all types of water activities.

Every year six of us come to the annual AQS Quilt Show in Paducah, Kentucky. We were tired of renting awful hotel rooms and being crammed into tiny spaces. After looking on VRBO we found this magnificent property and thought it was probably going to be too good to be true. But it was even better! The house sits on a beautiful piece of property right on the lake. It's gorgeous and the pictures don't do it justice. The owners were super quick with communication and any questions we had were quickly answered. And every morning on our way to Paducah we saw wild turkeys, deer, racoons, rabbits....it was a wildlife adventure! I would HIGHLY recommend this property!

The house had plenty of space. My biggest complaint would be the house is for 20 guest but there was only maybe 20 forks and 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and only two trash bags in the kitchen. The exterior of the home had cob webs and wasp nest in several areas.

The home is beautiful and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the games, hanging out around the fire pit, kayaks and loved that the lake was so close. We’re hoping to come back again during the summer months when the kids can swim.

This was such a great house for our family getaway. There were 3 generations ranging in age from 6-68. While this is a lakefront property, it was perfect for our February mini-vacation. We were able to fish, have a fire for s’mores, play games inside & outside & have lots of family game time. The kitchen was great for cooking & snacking. And, there a several great restaurants just minutes away. Just exactly what we were hoping for!

We travelled from Central Kentucky down to Lake Barkley for a guys golf trip. The eight of us had a great time. This property was everything advertised and more. Beautiful home inside and out and the lake view is amazing. The home was clean and tidy and provided the basic items needed for our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out watching football in the basement or just sitting on the deck enjoying the view. More than once someone commented we should just come back here every year. This place is awesome. Only problem for the whole trip was we couldn’t have a campfire due to state burn restrictions..not the owner’s fault. We will be back!

Our family always takes a fall trip together. This was by far the best lake house we have stayed in. Beautiful views, plenty of space for a large family, great location, very clean, and great hosts! My family already asked if we could stay here again next year :)

This house was everything it said it was with plently of room for big family. Great firepit area for relaxing. Kids loved ping pong table and games. Hope to defiantly return. Had no issues during our stay.

Incredible space for our family to gather!

This lake house was perfect for our gathering. Plenty of room to spread out and be able to get away, with great common areas for gathering. The kitchen is stocked with bare essentials, so you may need to bring a few extra items. Overall a great experience! Looking forward to coming back someday.

We had a large group of adult couples and many of our adult children opted to join us. This house was more than large enough for all of us and provided ample space to spread out, but also visit together. We spent a lot of time eating and playing games on the huge covered deck. Plenty of table place and rocking chairs to enjoy! The house was beautiful with an amazing view of the water. There was even pack of deer that hung out at the neighbors each evening. As a tip since the description didn’t give details, there is a Master/ensuite on the main floor as well as a queen size bedroom. A half bath is available for guests on the main floor as well. The walkout basement includes a gaming area as well as a large living area with sofa and TV, and a large bedroom with 2 queen beds and en-suite bath with a tub. This was perfect for our friends with a 3 y/o. Upstairs are two more queen bedrooms with en-suite baths as well as the large loft area, which features 2 twin over full/queen bunks, 2 twin trundle beds and two fold-out sofas, and two giant bean bags the young adults enjoyed. The dock was great for fishing, kayaking, and even swimming. Had weather been better, we would have rented a pontoon to dock at the house. The Wi-Fi, as noted, is very spotty as is cell service (AT&T particularly), but it wasn’t needed other than submitting a school paper. The road to the house was windy and a little hilly, but it was great for morning runs with very little traffic and nice views. We were more than pleased with out stay and are thinking of returning for another trip! Friendly tip: bring extra cleaning supplies for kitchen. I’m sure these tend to disappear with some renters, so it’s nice to have what you prefer with you. There is also a dollar general nearby should you need anything. Enjoy!!

This was a family experience everyone will remember. We all had so much fun just hanging out in this beautiful home. The Lake was great!

Great Location and convenient to marinas and restaurants. Spacious enough for 13 adults + and not in each others way. Great FAMILY times together.

This crew historically heads to the beach for a week together. We are so glad we came here instead !! Some felt it was one of our best family vacations yet!! Great location, nice lake, beautiful home, and fun times by all!!

We stayed at this property over Easter weekend. The house is spacious and clean. The location on the lake can’t be beat. It’s easy to access off of main roads, unlike some other locations. The only caution I have, is the stairs inside the home are a little steep and narrow. They were a little tough for our aging parents to navigate, but not an issue for the rest of us. Wonderful stay and highly recommend. We would absolutely rent again!

We had a wonderful week. Location was great and house was clean, spacious and plenty of room for 7 adults and 5 kids. Lots of garage space for multiple cars. Loved the dock, beautiful two level wrap around porch, access to Kayaks and paddle board. We enjoyed the fire pit area. Close to grocery, restaurants, hiking and water park. A few tips - none of us were deal breakers for us at all but would have been good to know beforehand to plan around: Wifi was spotty - okay to stream one show but not multiple devices at once, no light blocking shades and rooms were bright by 5:30 am (FYI if you have small kids or are light sensitive), and not much fridge/freezer space for that many people buying food for a week. We just did multiple trips to the grocery which was close. Some challenges with getting info for check in - had to email night before and follow up with call the afternoon of check in. Other times communication was almost immediate which was great. Not related to the house, we learned the hard way that the marina closest (Eddy Creek) does not rent boats that allow for tubing. The boats were new and clean just not quite what we wanted. The second boat day we went to Turtle Creek. We will definitely return!

We had a great time despite the weather. We brought our pontoon boat but didn’t get to spend time on the water due to rain, wind and cold temps. So, we had a blast playing ping pong, foosball and the other games that were in the house. The beds were very comfortable and the house is incredible. Very nice property to rent and we can’t wait to come back !!

Even with a pandemic and shortly after a major tornado our “crew” had plenty of space, both inside and outside, to stay active without feeling constrained. We cooked all of our meals at home and enjoyed every minute of our special time together. Jonathan was great, he answered the questions we had before and during our trip in a timely fashion. We had a large group of 18 people ranging from 6-45 years of age and we plenty of room to roam. The property is amazing...especially the views. The owner, Jonathan, had great communication during the entire process and was always quick to respond with any questions. It was a great trip in late December, but I imagine a trip in the warmer months would be even better.
