Our group of 14 (moms and daughters) had plenty of space at this Lakefront Home.. The house was clean when we got there and communication was always immediate. We loved having 2 fridges ( one ice maker didn't work) There are plenty of pots, pans and utensils. One pan was very dirty and crusty and the oven had stuff stuck to the bottom so it smoked when we used it. We turned the oven to self clean mode which helped.
There is plenty of space by the house to park which was nice to load/unload (driveway is the usual, steep Norris type. Just use low gear) and the walk down to the dock was not as bad as our friend’s house. The pictures do not show a dock to hang out on, but they must have added it, and we were so happy to see it! We were at the dock and swam for hours everyday. .
We loved having use of the kayaks and also rented the jet skis, Just make sure you tell Jason ahead of time, and he will have them ready to use. The hot tub was nice to have too. The shower pressure was wonderful, which all of us ladies appreciated! Some of the sinks drained really slow.
There are plenty of bath towels, but bring your own beach towels if you swim at the dock or go out on a boat. We also brought our own board games and cards. We loved the easy check out process , which helped get us out at 9am. We enjoyed our stay at Jason’s and made wonderful memories with our daughters before they head back to college.

Our group of 9 had plenty of space to gather together (as well as retreat for some quiet time when needed). The view from both decks is fantastic. The stairs down to the dock are in great shape and on a great stretch of the lake. Lots of boats and jet skis, but the lake there is wide enough that we felt comfortable swimming even when boats were going by. Lake is deep right off the dock (perfect for jumping in again and again) and there are life jackets for floating (and plenty of towels, too). Having access to laundry was super helpful. Was great to have gas grill, as well.
Host was very responsive. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher, but host took care of it right away (had someone out to check on it within 2 hours of messaging) and was very diligent to make sure problem was taken care of (ended up needing a new dishwasher, which works super well! :-) ). We were very impressed and grateful for this diligence, as other hosts may have just done a temporary “fix” until they wanted to replace an appliance. (Special shoutout to the really sweet plumber who made sure everything was handled and we were taken care of! :-)
As others have mentioned, driveway is steep (looks scarier than it is); we’d recommend an SUV if possible.
Overall, a really great space—we may be back next year!

Great view and location. The house handled our crew very well and was easily accessed. Starlink (internet) had some issues at times but we were there to enjoy the lake and that didn’t stop us. Would go back and do again. 👍👍👏👏

The property was dirty and out dated, trash and food was still left from previous renters, no Wi-Fi because owner was not paying bills, no AC when we arrived, then we were blamed for braking the AC unit and charged for false damages

This house is perfect for large families! I’ve never seen so many beds in one house. Like someone else mentioned the driveway is a little
Intimidating! It’s straight up and down! Also if you’re traveling with elderly folks they probably won’t be able to get down to the lake. My dad’s knees couldn’t do it .. but he loved the view just the same. Overall we had a great time and was pleasantly surprised to be able to door dash from the local grocery. Took less than 30 mins! Lastly you’re sitting on the prettiest lake in TN. Do rent the jet ski. They weren’t ready to go when we were there so that was a smidgen disappointing. But if they are I would recommend taking them out for sure.

Great location for our girls weekend! We had plenty of room. The house was well stocked and very clean. We had a great view of the lake from the hot tub and the fire pit! I highly recommend this property!

Love the views. Great communication with property manager. Lake is a little busy right here but the dock had lots of bumpers to help protoct our boat.

We had a nice time at this VRBO. The driveway isn’t great for pulling trailers in, but there are nearby marinas you can keep those! Very clean. Bring extra toilet paper and trash bags for large groups.

We had a wonderful time at this house. There were 20 of us and there was enough room for everyone to have a bed and room to spread out throughout the house. It had a nice fire pit, and dock as well, although we couldn't use the jet ski docks or the lift for our boat.
The driveway is VERY steep and has 2, 90 degree turns, use caution! Wish there would have been a little more warning about the driveway and the dock, otherwise it was a great place!

Location of the house is great-on deep water on the great Big Creek section of the lake-minutes from Whitman Hollow marina. We had a couple of issues during our stay, but Jason was very responsive and fixed it all while we were there!

My group of 16 had a delightful stay at this property. The place came equipped with many beds, had all the necessary kitchen equipment and utensils, and included various activities that would allow you to enjoy your day entirely spent at the house like the hot tub, free swimming off the dock, and the kayaks. If you are looking for a nice summer getaway without going to the beach this is a perfect location. The host Jason was great throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend booking this house.

This was a great place to stay for our family of 13. We rented a boat from nearby Whitman Hollow Marina (10 minutes by boat) and were able to dock it easily for our stay. Nice place to stay on Norris Lake. Great views, and the firepit area was awesome.

The property looked exactly like the pictures. It had a very rustic nature and feel to it, and the sense you were getting away from it all. Beautiful views from most every window and the home was very clean and well outfitted. We probably enjoyed the fire pit most of all, spent many happy hours down there by the lake from afternoon long into the night. The owner, Jason, was available to answer questions and responded quickly. The driveway is very steep, but didn’t present too much of a problem. It is a good half hour into town for groceries, so best to stock up on your way in.

Overall the property was wonderful... plenty of space, great dock, beautiful views and everything you could need for your stay and more. Only a few hiccups, but these were quickly taken notice to and most all remedied (within realistic expectations as a renter). We experienced excellent communication with the owner. Travel to this area in early-ish March leaves the weather to be unpredictable, but there was more than enough to do and enjoy if we couldn't be out on the dock, swimming, fishing or kayaking. During the weather cooperating days that we did have we got to enjoy the fire-pit and great fishing! We were well advised before our stay with property rules, tips and tricks- making it easier to be prepared and ready to relax. Thanks for sharing your home!

Communication was good with Jason prior to arrival. Upon arrival, cold weather busted pipes in hot tub and tub was empty. Jason was notified and got hot tub fixed the next day. Place could have been a little cleaner as evidenced by cold hard biscuits being left in oven, lights burnt out in loft area, dirt on floor, and fans too dusty to turn on. Also, description said kayaks available for use by renters and didn't specify time of year, but when Jason was contacted he said that he put them away for the season. Even though it was December and cold, not having the kayaks was disappointing for our group because of the nice weather. Grill was also out of gas, though we bought a new replacement and left it there full. Our kids had fun, we had fun connecting with family, stayed a week and even though we ran into problems, the price for the location was very reasonable and check in process was easy.

We had a great time as a family. The home is just as shown in the pictures and the area is beautiful. We had no issue with the driveway, which was something other people had mentioned. It can get a little chilly at night if you visit during the colder months, but its manageable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this home to others.

We stayed for a semi annual guys trip. The water was perfect temp (Yes even in the middle of Sept). Hot tub was great too. The cabin is nicely equipped. No complaints!

We had a great time in this house! Great location and view of the lake. The house was big enough to have a large family vacation. We rented one of the waverunners and had a blast. Owner was quick to respond and very nice.

Real nice property. Recently painted and very well kept. Not too many steps to the dock which is nice compared to some other properties. Jason the owner was very helpful and responsive.
The driveway is a little scary but that is not unusual. we had three families so the 3 bedrooms and the big loft for the kids worked out fine. We woluld recomend this property.

Really enjoyed our time spent at Norris Lake. The drive back is windy and the driveway makes your heart go pitter-patter a bit! And yes a great deal of stairs to go down to the lake, but that’s common for Norris Lake. We loved the open floor plan with all the beds on the top floor. We enjoyed hearing the kids conversations and laughter. The dock is nice and we felt the bench seats were a good addition. The only negative (and it’s being picky) we wished the kitchen dining table were larger and offered more seating. Overall lovely house and appreciate you offering to renters.

Amazing family vacation
We had a great family vacation! Plenty of room for all of us! The decks over looking the lake provided a great place to gather, eat, play cards, hot tub and enjoy the beautiful views! Our favorite marina is Whitman hallow and this house was so close ! Highly recommend this place!

The sliding glass doors did not work very well. The hot tub worked well and was quite pleasant. The three bedrooms on the bottom floor were very nice. The doors in the bathroom closet did not work. On the second floor, the kitchen was moderately well equipped. This floor was very spacious, there were great views of the lake, and there was a fireplace. There were bathrooms on each floor. Our main issue was that the third floor was too open to the second floor, with no privacy. There were approximately 12 beds up there and it was wide open. Anyone renting this property and relying on the beds on the third floor should be very careful that everyone knows that it’s not private. There is no light on the way down to the first floor. It was quite pricey for the value.
