Our family of 9 and 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, well-appointed home with beautiful views of the lake and many things to do. We also rented their pontoon boat for a couple of days and had a blast! Highly recommend!

Good for families.

House was very nice and well stocked. Plenty of room for five couples and kids. The two screened in porches were nice, lots of bugs but I guess that’s what you get when you’re on the lake. The yard isn’t really good for playing and the lake access is not ideal as it’s pretty steep. We went during the heat wave and had to spend most of the time inside in the AC (which was surprisingly good too) but still got to enjoy the amazing views! Check in and communication was super simple too. A little hard to find but worth it.

The lake view is what attracted me to this property and it did not disappoint. Very nicely furnished and comfortable, with bedding rivaling any 5 star hotel. My mom said it was the best night's sleep she's had in months. A very short drive to Lake Barkley Resort and Marina, and fairly short drive to groceries and a few restaurants. Just beware that the entire area is a little sketchy on cell service. Most of us had T Mobile, and the iphone users could text with wifi but not make calls. My mom has ATT and could make some calls from the area. Despite that, questions and inquiries were answered promptly through texts with the owner. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I renewed our vows and celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary at this property. It was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. The outdoor space and the view of the lake was perfect. The sleeping accommodations were perfect. The open area in the house allowing all of us to be together was perfect. The secluded location was perfect. The 5 minute drive to the public boat ramp was perfect.
From the outside it looks extremely small but as soon as you open up the front door you are welcomed by all the “big” space it has to offer.
The owners were personal and definitely approachable. We are already planning our next trip.

We arrived at the house and were immediately impressed with the beautiful decor and view! Plenty of room for our families and two dogs. The boat rental was so much fun and this is when we did most of our swimming. Such a great time! Our only "issue" was swimming accessibility. It was a steep hill with very rocky beach access. Highly recommend water shoes or crocs. My parents (mid 60s) wouldn't even attempt it. We would definitely come back though! Gorgeous property!

The property is beautiful. Rest and Relaxation. Amenities galore, has everything you could ever want/need.
Check in/out was super easy and the host is wonderful.

We loved our 4 day stay at this wonderful property. Grandparents, Mother, Dad and 4 sons 12, 11 and 9 plus our small dog. The house was so accommodating and the beds were comfortable. The lake view was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor areas and the boat. It was a great vacation.

We LOVED our time spent at this property and will definitely be back! The house was great and the owners super friendly and accommodating. The screened in porch and peaceful atmosphere (no other houses to be seen) were my favorites. Being right on the lake aloud for a lot of fun fishing and paddle boating (even though the water was freezing). Thanks again!

Our group of 10 came from Nashville, Louisville, Evansville and Indianapolis and loved this place! It's one of the top 3 spots I've ever rented. Even though the weather turned rainy, we were able to use the firepit one night and we loved the screen porch with blankets and space heaters. We'd love to come back in the summer!

The home is beautifully decorated, well stocked, clean, and spacious. The wooded property is gorgeous and peaceful with beautiful views of the the river. For a girls weekend, we were hoping for easier water access. There's no easy path to get down to the water, no dock, and there is steady boat traffic which made it less conducive for swimming or floating. Would recommend renting the boat for water access.

The lake house was beautifully decorated and a great place to enjoy nature. We loved birdwatching from the screened porch. We wished there was a dock to fish from, the path to the water was too steep and rocky for the seniors in our group. The coded key box was a little tricky to open, but we figured it out!

Beautiful property. Would love to visit again in cooler weather to enjoy the fire pit and patio. Kitchen is well stocked and beds comfortable. The basement steps are very steep which was hard with small children. Owner provided floats and a Lilly Pad to enjoy the lake.

Amazing view,
View from the back screened in sun porch was just beautiful. The house was clean comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well stocked in and outdoors. There was not great water access and the back of the property was on a downward slope so it could be a challenge for the elderly and very small children. The surrounding forest was also beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife.

Perfectly secluded, surprisingly spacious, excellent host
The property was very clean, warmly decorated and had plenty of space. From the outside it looks small, but the recent renovation made amazing use of the space inside. We had 7 adults, 3 teens and 1 child and really had plenty of space. The kitchen was well appointed with all the equipment needed to feed a crowd. We rented a pontoon boat from the owner and enjoyed some tubing and swimming. The kids tried canoeing and paddle boarding for the first time. Only downside was the super soft beds—but I like a very firm mattress. The host was very helpful and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous lake home
Our family of 5 had the most fantastic time at this beautiful modern lake home! Everything was clean and the house had everything we needed from the kitchen, to the bathroom and bedrooms. The views are fantastic, and two screened in porches added another element of living space. We loved relaxing on the upstairs porch, watching the birds and listening to the water. Our kids loved the ping pong table, bunk beds, campfire with s’mores, a cozy movie by the fireplace and running around on the property! The homeowner was incredibly responsive when I needed to communicate with her. This is a very private quiet location, perfect for a family or friends gathering. Thank you Kelly!

Really fun and special place
The house is just as described- but the pictures don’t do it justice. The house is clean and each room has super cute decorations, it’s bright and airy. The property is beautiful- even in early spring. The water views are amazing. We saw lots of wildlife. I would come back for sure.

Thanksgiving Family Retreat
We had a fabulous time at our family vacation retreat! The property was everything that we could hope for; beautiful location with great lake view and plenty of room for the whole family. Very relaxing. Lots of fun things to do in the area: we went to a planetarium show and toured the Elk and Bison reserve, where we saw many Bison, Elk and Turkeys. Hiking and a bonfire with s'mores on the property was enjoyable as well. Although it was too cold to go boating, it looked like that would have been fun as well. Too many things to do and not enough time to enjoy them all! Highly recommend this fabulous property!

Very private
Nice place clearly newly acquired and remodeled. Clearly wasn't that nice of a place prior. All improvements were very nice but still could use a few more. The fire pit is nice but very inaccessible with no stairs or practical railing. Other than that we had a wonderful time very private.

Perfect Location for R&R
This is a great place for a weekend getaway. The beds are all very comfortable, and everything is decorated beautifully. We didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoor space as much as we wanted, but even at night the lake is stunning with the light from the nearby bridge dancing on the water. You are very secluded and may never see another human while you are here! It is also conveniently located only a few miles off a main road so no driving for miles and miles at 20mph around a lake road. Pick this one!

Great weekend trip
The property was very nice. The 5 bedrooms and two levels were great to spread out when it was time for bed. The screened in porches were a favorite. The upper porch looks over the water and we really enjoyed watching the occasional barge go by. The house is very updated and organized. We used the fire pit in the yard and the “fire table” on the deck and enjoyed both! The house is secluded which we appreciated. The property is steep but this seems common for the area. Overall great time and we would love to rent it again! Kelly was great at answering questions and communicating promptly!
