The property was perfectly functional and got the job done for my large family doing a long weekend vacation. However, there weren’t any ways in which the property was outstanding and there were a few minor issues. For example, the King-sized bed frame had a Queen-sized mattress.

We were a group of 7 long time friends that got together for a reunion in La Jolla. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed. The house was extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for us all to hang out. We spent a lot f time touring San Diego and the La Jolla area so did not make much use of the kitchen for meals as we mainly ate out. It was a great room to hang out in though for breakfast and drinks. We also really enjoyed the roof top deck and fireplace. The location was perfect - close to beach, great restaurants and shopping. We rented a vehicle and driving to from the airport and city was easy. A couple of suggestions would be a non slip backing on the living room carpet and bathroom mats as well as a few more racks to hang towels in the shared bathroom. The chairs at the table in the kitchen are quite uncomfortable. Mainly everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this property.

House nicely accommodated 7. Easy access, walking or driving, to beach and neighborhoods. Clean; good communication with property mgmt. team. Do suggest upgrading internet.

Great location to beach. Home is large and easily fit our family. Appreciated the garage door openers. Neighbor houses are a bit sketchy. Recommend providing tissue paper and shampoo in bathrooms. La Jolla is an excellent area.

House was great! Roomy, kitchen nicely stocked with new appliances. I would recommend this house. Only negatives were that the grass needs mowing, tree by the front door needs trimming and tv in the master suite did not work.

We loved the house! It is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The layout is good because it provides three separate spaces for sleeping quarters plus full bath; each area has sleeping accommodations for a different number of people-- two, four, and four respectively. We really enjoyed the roof area. We were in La Jolla for a family wedding and the space was perfect for us to entertain and meet with relatives. We would definitely book here again. The host staff was very responsive, although at least one issue we experienced just was not easily addressed so we elected to live with it- this decision was totally our choice-- the staff was very willing to address it immediately.

I have stayed at multiple VRBOs including Bluewater properties and this was absolutely one of the finest! Plenty of room in this large house for 9 to sit and eat together, spread out, sleep, etc. Everything is as described and I’d say even better. The top deck with fire pit was a nice place to see the ocean with a cup of coffee in the morning and cocktail at night. Overall we had a busy week getting our son married and this home could not have been better - easy walk to beach or cafes, grocery, etc. And super quick drive or Uber to wedding events in La Jolla. We did quite a bit of cooking and the grill and utensils, were great. Thanks again Bluewater 💙

We went with our kids and grandkids and had a blast. The property is exactly as shown on the website and was the cleanest place we’ve rented. The only downside is that we arrived before 4PM and the property was ready but we couldn’t get in. I received a text telling me if the property was available prior to 4PM I would be automatically notified but that didn’t happen. It’s a small issue but it was frustrating nonetheless. We will definitely be back!

Was a wonderful stay for my family coming to see me for graduation. House was near all the activity of La Jolla and the beaches. Traffic was the only issue, the streets around the house can be jammed up especially near the freeway at all hours. So if you’re planning to go anywhere, plan to experience 25 minutes of road traffic anytime earlier than 9 pm. Other than that, great place, clean, ready to go, seamless process.

This is a beautiful home that was perfect for our family vacation - clean, comfortable, great off-street parking, close to area attractions and easy check in/check out. There was plenty of room to spread out or congregate - especially in the evening on the rooftop deck! We would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a home away from home - we loved it!

Great location (you can walk everywhere). And lots of room for our family. Supplies were limited but the house was wonderful so it still deserves 5 stars. One of the best houses we’ve stayed at in La Jolla. We would definitely return.

We were thrilled when we saw that this property was available for our trip, because we stayed here last year and it was perfect for our multi-generational family. Great location, layout of the house, easy neighborhood -- hope to stay here again!

Our family was gathered together in La Jolla for my nephew’s wedding. This house was so beautiful and clean and perfect for our family. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. We had a great stay at this property: sunny, clean, spacious and a location not to be beat. 5 min walk to the ocean/beach, 20 min walk to downtown La Jolla. Bedrooms in the house are big and roomy, especially the master bedroom. Decks seem great, but we had bad weather so didn't use them. Little chilly on the 1st floor, but with the fireplace on it was fine. Garage is also great. Kitchen pretty well stocked with equipment, but zero food/staples, so be aware to bring your own.

Fabulous house ! Spacious and immaculate! Terrific location- walk to beach and town in five minutes . Supplies are just right for the week . Nice smelling linens. Perfect kitchen. Photos don’t do it justice- much larger and new feeling . Hope I can return very soon !

The house was comfortable and great layout for a large group. The location is perfect. Walking distance to food and the beach. We will remember this place next time we are in San Diego.

We arrived to find a delightfully spotless home furnished with plenty of places to sit and chat, play games, or share a meal. The roof-top deck provided a wide view of the neighborhood as well as the ocean. Be aware that the street is tight, but there is plenty of room for two cars in the driveway and in the garage. We had only minor complaints -- we would have liked facial tissue in the bathrooms, and since only one towel per person is supplied, more bathroom towel bars would be helpful to dry bath towels between uses.

We really loved the house and the location. The only issue I had was the kitchen was not as well stocked as I would have liked. There was no tin foil, Saran Wrap or and baggies to preserve leftovers. No oils for cooking. Initially we did not have salt and pepper but after I spoke with a rep from the company, he promptly delivered a small container of basic spices. They were very good at communicating and maybe I should have asked for these items but I didn’t. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and the rooftop deck was the highlight with a beautiful view

Great stay! Great property. Would be great if lights were on dimmer switches and there was mitigation for the many flies that somehow get inside!

Our home away from home was very welcoming, spacious, clean and nicely stocked. Communication with property manager was flawless and very considerate. We had a wonderful time and choosing this home served our large family group better than any hotel could. Would both recommend and return here.

Great location, easy walk to the beach and resteraunts, a little further walk to La Jolla main street but doable if your up for a little exercise. The house itself was great, plenty of room, every amenity need for a family vacay. A few dilapidated houses on the street (and some multi-million dollar stunners near by) but I think that’s La Jolla

Property was perfect for my family. Lots of space. Walkable to the beach and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood and having the garage and driveway was great so didn’t have to worry about finding parking.

We had a wonderful time in this home for the week. There were 4 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of space. The adults loved spending evenings on the roof. Most of what we needed was within walking distance. Cafe Milano was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!

Super clean house, that's just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The house was perfect size, with plenty of room for our group of 9 adults and fully stocked with the essentials before you can get to a store. The host checked in with us and we had great communication. We would definitely stay here again!!

We had our family with 2 small kids stay the week. The house was great! Lots of space for the kids to play. Great location…walking distance to the beach and grocery. Would for sure stay again!

The house was very open and spacious, and decorated very tastefully. Beds were all comfy, including the bunk beds. They had nice, thick mattresses on them. The place was comfortable and well stocked with what you need. I loved the touch of the starting essentials from Bluewater. It is a convenient walk to shopping and restaurants, very close to the beach. The view from the top deck which had lots of comfy seating was fabulous! The only downsides were the extreme closeness to neighbors and a few sketchy houses on the street. But no big deal. We really enjoyed our stay. 9 adults and 2 children and everyone agreed.

Spent a week at the home with my wife, 1.5 year old and my in laws. The house is nice and spacious. Plenty of privacy and space for everyone and the location is terrific. About 3 blocks to the beach and just around the corner from town. Good communication and availability with rental company if/when we needed something. Was very pleased.

The host was great to work with - very communicative and available via text - the easiest way to communicate on vacation. Property was exactly as shown and expected - so convenient for a walk to the beach or into town.

Beautiful home. Great layout. Loved the rooftop porch with fire pit. Bluewater Vacation Homes checked on us to make sure all was as expected. Just a short walk to the beach. Perfect location for shopping. Would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. The home is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen for family meals. The only negative was the neighbor across the street. They are not happy with renters.

From the main level with the beautiful kitchen and eating areas to the rooftop patio with gas fireplace, this home is ideal! The home is so airy and spacious that my family of seven adults and two children had plenty of room to spread out. We loved watching the sunset over the ocean from the rooftop deck (if we weren’t enjoying it at the beach!). It is just the perfect spot to relax after a busy day. The appliances are all high end. The master bedroom with its own private deck was an extra treat. There’s ample space for two cars to park in the driveway and the garage is also available for parking. However, the street is only wide enough for one car to pass by and there is on-street parking on the opposite side of the house making it extremely difficult to back out of the driveway at any time. We could never leave without having a person directing us out of the driveway and going back-and-forth several times so we would not hit the car parked opposite the driveway. The one time we parked on the street, a neighbor called the property manager and complained. But with that being said, it would not deter us from renting this property again. So that is the reason for the 4 star rating on the location and neighborhood. It’s a quick walk to the beach that was never super crowded, but yet had enough surfers and boogie borders to enjoy watching. My entire family LOVED this place. My only recommendation would be to maybe consider having a comfort height toilet on the bathroom that’s off the kitchen to accommodate anyone with mobility issues. We hope to be back again soon!
