A favorite of ours! Will return again. kids had a blast

It was a truly amazing cabin, plenty of dishes (actually maybe too many! But hey, it was still awesome) and great communication. Very good lake access and nice lighting all along the deck and stairs. LOVED IT!

My family enjoyed boating, swimming, and hanging out on the dock. We love taking our dog, as he loves to swim. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Mornings on the back deck were relaxing.

Kayaks were awesome. Nice dock to swim of off. My kids LOVED the slide. Enjoyed the fire pit. House was comfortable. Porch was really quiet. Everything worked as advertised. Thanks for the week!

Well-appointed home with a great view of the lake. Kayaks, a 2-story slide, and a covered double dock with a small refrigerator were a hit for my family. My second favorite spot is on the deck with fans. While the best view of the sunsets was from the firepit. The week-long trip started on a sour note, with the cleaner being a no-show and thunderstorms taking out the internet until 8 pm. The owner was very responsive and helpful. A couple of upgrades would make this 5-star. Sticky doors, some more repairs to the steps down to the dock, and change out the shower heads. Just a reminder the drive is steep @ 18% while parking at a 12% side slope would confuse our minivan to show low gas. We found the queen beds were firmer than we are used to. The blue spring marina is just 8 minutes away. The house is easy to find on the lake with its red roofs. There are dollar general stores nearby while Walmarts are half an hour away. Two local friendly dogs visited us. Bently wanted to come into the house. We did enjoy our time. We saw deer every day, bunnies, squirrels, and a salamander, while we heard a bobcat one night. Grey and white herons, vultures, osprey, yellow finches, and many other birds are around the property. A couple of small fish by the dock and large ones would make splashes in the morning. One night was clear and the milky way was observed. The house was very well furnished, and plenty of room for the 5 adults.

We had a great time at this lake house. The house was very clean with lots of space for my family of 5. My children spent a lot of time playing on the slide. There was also great fishing from the dock. They caught 9 big catfish in 3 nights. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the lake.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend together. We loved the convenience of the kayaks being right beside the dock. We had so much fun with the slide and enjoyed the beauty of the lake. I messaged the owner to ask a question, and she immediately called me. Our family will definitely be back!

The house was older but still very nice. You can tell that they are slowly working on it. The dock was a big hit but we only got to utilize it for one evening due to severe storms. The steps were unsettling but looks like they were working on them. My only advice would be more lighting outside for at night going down to the dock, definitely need some flashlights or lanterns for when the power goes out (we had to find candles since the power was out for way to long. Ofcourse the weather & power outage was not the owners fault. They tried to help us find flashlights but no luck besides 1 under a table outside..Owner was very fast to respond when needed & answered all questions. Lake house was actually very well stocked with basic necessities beyond what we expected which was very nice. Great lake house with a lot of potential but can’t rate fairly considering we had it for 3 days and only got to utilize the main part for 1 evening. Definitely ruined the 1 thing our daughter wanted for her 14th birthday. We hope to try again next year.

We enjoyed our quick 3 day stay so much! The location of the house is perfect! Not only do you get beautiful views and sunsets, but the house is located on the bigger section of the lake and easily were able to do all the water sports. The dock was great to park our boat with easy lift system. Our teens loved the dock slide and kayaks and were a top 3 memory from our time. House was very clean, cozy and came with little extras (small toiletries, spices, condiments etc) if you forgot something. Becky was super kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend and would stay again if we came back to the lake. Only note- the property is on a medium/steep hill and does have 60-70 steps to the dock if you have any ability issues.

Checked in with no issues. We beat the cleaning company and I spoke to Becky about this and she promptly addressed it and had the cleaners out. Amazing communication no matter what our question was. Would love to plan another stay at this beautiful lake house!

We had a wonderful time staying here for 2+ weeks. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive and the property is terrific. We brought our boat and enjoyed spending time on the lake every day. We love Watts Bar Lake and this area of East TN, and can't wait to move here in a few years.

My family of six - myself, husband, oldest daughter (18), son (15), youngest daughter (11), and Bernie, our 5-year-old Shitzu mix - had the privilege of staying in the Duncans' beautiful lake house for a week, and we had the most fun time there! The house was easy to find via gps, as was the boat ramp, only a couple of miles away, which Mrs. Duncan kindly informed us before our trip. The house was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and extremely well-stocked! We were surprised to find SO many essentials - even things we didn't think to bring ourselves - in the numerous cabinets throughout the home. We have never stayed in a rental that felt like a home until this one, and we appreciate the thoughtfulness and care that went into our stay. It's clear that the Duncans want everyone to feel right at home and have everything they could need or want on vacation- so incredibly kind! I really can't say enough good things about this property, but a few of our favorites were: 1) the VIEW - simply amazing at all times of the day (but especially beautiful at sunset when you can watch it right from the deck or the firepit area) 2) the dock, kayaks, paddleboat, and the slide - our kids loved all the fun stuff and just played and played, even the teenagers! Also, having a place for our boat right at the house was perfect. 3) the firepit and grill - grilling out nearly every night and having smores while watching the sunset was wonderful. We hope to come back, and we thank you so much!

If we decide to go that way on a trip again. This property would be first on our list. We had a relaxing trip. Its location is good. Its about an hours drive from several bigger cities and that was perfect for what we wanted. Mrs. Becky was amazing from day one she was very helpful with anything I needed. We highly recommend staying at the property. The view was amazing and the house was prefect. Thanks so much the experience made our trip that much better.

We had a great time! The house was clean, VERY well stocked and pet friendly, we were impressed. It was quiet and so relaxing. My two little old dogs enjoyed laying in the sun on the deck! The driveway was a bit steep but we managed! 😊 Definitely recommend!

Awesome place!

The house had everything we needed for our stay. The view was beautiful as promised. The location was great as we were able to drop our boat in nearby. The host responded quickly to all inquiries. I was prepared for the great number of steps, and while it’s obvious some work has been done, those steps and the dock still need some sprucing up. Overall, it was a great rental.

Great little place for a getaway. House is older and has some idiosyncrasy, but no major issues. Driveway is very steep and intimidating going down to the house, but nothing to worry about if your brakes are fine. About 60 steps going down to the water. 4 kayaks provided. Could not get water to work for water slide, but is functional without it,

The owners were amazing and fast at answering questions. The only thing I could suggest is there are broken pots probably from the other guests be picked up and thrown away from the cleaning company so a child or animal doesn’t get hurt. I def would recommend and stay again. I only gave a 4 star for location is because there was no grocery store around. Again, owners are top notch the place was spotless. I totally recommend and plan on booking for next year.

This past week was a super relaxing vacation, perfect for the whole family! While it’s quite a trek of stairs to get down to the water, it was worth it! Our kiddos (ages 5-9) spent hours swimming of the dock, fishing, kayaking and using the peddle boat, and enjoying the slide. With a fridge down on the dock, it was perfect to still have drinks and snacks there, being able to enjoy the day to its fullest! The home is definitely older and could use some maintenance work (a few specific things I mentioned to Becky with an amazing response that I am confident will be cared for!) it’s clear they have worked on replacing some of the steps and windows. With this though, it seemed to be on the higher price end for the area. Yes, the slide was an absolute bonus, but considering some of these “older features” or need for replacement/cleaning/updating, it seemed higher priced. That would be the only thing that took this review from a 5 to a 4. Vacation/relaxing wise though, it was worth it all! Beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The view from the porch was amazing. Thanks for a great stay! We look forward to returning to the area in the future!

Great views, kids loved the water slide, whole family enjoyed the kayaks, and cabin is lovely and well stocked, especially for coffee lovers! You can see a wide variety of birds right from the porch and can catch fish from the dock. There are several steps and steep driveway and yard. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

This is the best vacation rental I have ever experienced. The property was equipped for our every need. The instructions were clear, directions precise and the view breathtaking.

The house was comfortable and was very well stocked. The views are simply amazing. The owner was very prompt with responses. We felt so welcomed and had a great week. We would love to book again!

My family and I had a great time at this Lake House. It was well supplied with everything we needed. Including two kayaks and a paddle boat. When we were out on a boat the location and red roof made it easy to find when we were coming back and anyone familiar with the lake knows it’s easy to get lost on. I would highly recommend this house. The only issue I can think of would be the stairs leading to the dock. There are a lot of steps (58), so be prepared to get some exercise.
