Very clean and well appointed home. Beautiful coastal views and close to the village of Cambria. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved it.

Traveled with 1 couple and dog. The upstairs quarters were perfect for downtime. The downstairs with kitchen, living room and bedroom/bathroom were perfect for socializing.

Gorgeous property. Very convenient all worked beautifully. Great location!

Cambria offers many things to stay busy.

Love the quiet location. Beautiful views. Very nicely outfitted. Best wifi I ever experienced in the central coast (though it went out in the storm for about 12 hours). Teen daughter got her own suite upstairs!

GREAT HOST GREAT PLACE COZY QUIET

This property is awesome! We loved the balconies and view. The inside is wonderful and beautifully decorated! I did not realize you could get to upper level while inside and was great for all of us. Host was responsive and very nice! We were bummed about water shortage but did not take away from our wonderful experience. I would definitely rent again! We loved this location and so close to other family members homes! It was so quiet and beds comfy! Slept well and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend for a nice peaceful getaway!

This house is nicely located in a very quiet neighborhood with an incredible sky high view of the ocean in the distance. From the top floor balcony, you will be at the same level in the sky as the larger birds floating and dancing in the wind. (Having an empty lot next door gave a special element of privacy). We found both levels of the house very clean. Our beds were very comfortable. The kitchen supplies were useful and dishes etc. well organized and plentiful. The yard is very secure, which is good especially if you have smaller dogs, however it is fairly steep. We used the area near the deck for our 2 small pups to use as needed since it was a bit more level. Great communication with the property owner. We hope to come again and relax as much as we did during our recent stay of 3 nights. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your delightful place!

Super clean. Spacious. Great location to ocean and town. Beautiful views nestled on the hill amongst the trees. Loved the deer and wild turkey visits. Quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for.

The property worked well for my wife and I and our friends, another married couple. The views from the top floor and the main floor below were lovely, looking out towards the ocean in the distance over the trees and community below. You can actually see the Hearst Castle from the balconies, using binoculars. House was well appointed and very quiet. We liked the fact that the house was almost split into two to offer privacy and self-sufficiency between the two floors , with separate entry doors but had an inside staircase that connected them together. We have 2 small terriers and we enjoyed walking them over to the nearby Greenspace Strawberry Canyon and the beautiful coastal walks at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. The balconies were a great, safe place for the dogs to be as they are fenced in and they enjoyed looking out. Although the house yard is fenced in and safe to let dogs out we found that because our dogs are so low to the ground , much more yard debris got stuck to them, so we kept them to the balconies. We enjoyed watching the wild turkeys wandering around the neighborhood, the odd deer make appearances and many birds of prey circling amongst the trees. The migrating whales made an early showing on our coastal walks and a small group put on a display not far off the coastline, just north of Cambria. Sea otters were also visible but the best place to view them up close is at Morro Rock where large rafts of them seem to congregate. All in all, the house was a great place to base ourselves as we took off for our walks and wildlife spotting.

Perfect getaway for us and another couple. We stayed with a dog and a baby and there was plenty of room for all of us. Having the two separate living areas was very helpful and the views were stunning.

The property was exactly as depicted in the photographs - ocean view, lovely decks, very serene. Surrounded by nature, wild turkeys, deer, literally nature!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Great amenities, amazing view, close to ocean and downtown. Will definitely book again!

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. The fact that it was pet friendly made a getaway like this possible for us. So very happy with the complete experience and location! Thanks so much!

Facility was well kept and in a good location. Only complaints are the beds. Way too soft. All three of us complained, I ended up sleeping on the floor three nights. Please, VRBO landlords, do not overlook replacing old bedding. And no, a 2" foam pad does not count!

Coastal Vista is a beautiful getaway. The house is very comfortable. Elizabeth is great and very communicative. We love our stays at this home!

A glass of wine at sunset on the top deck is just magical. There are great hiking trails up and down the Cambria coast. This really provided a much needed getaway from work, zoom and email for my husband and I. My son joined us for golf with his dad on the weekend and the upstairs provided a lovely spot for him too. We left feeling very relaxed and rested. We hope we can return soon and we will be sure to recommend this home to friends as a great place to stay when visiting the Cambria area.

This great home checks all the boxes. We 3 only occupied the bottom level; but the connected upstairs offers a great second complete living area should another couple join you. The Lodge Hill location is on top of a ridge in a quiet attractive neighborhood with friendly neighbors we came across on our walks. The home is quite private as on one side is a vacant lot. The home on the other side was unoccupied during our stay. You can tell Coastal Vista has been lovingly restored. We were impressed by the new appliances, the electric fireplace, modern A/C and heating units, and large televisions everywhere. The flooring is attractive and the comfy multi function recliners were a joy. The home has windows everywhere to take in the view; but equally important, it has super blinds that block the heat but don’t make you feel closed in and large fans as well. The view of the ocean and overall scenery below you is the best we’ve encountered. Just wait until you see your first unobstructed sunset. Wow! The balcony was our choice for each evening’s event. Be prepared for daily wildlife visits too. We had wild turkeys, a family of deer, and one constant squirrel which made our dog’s day complete. Activity wise we had fun sharpening our pool skills in the game room, and watching movies on the big screen by the fire. During the days we loved walking the Fiscalini trails and moonstone beach boardwalk. And it’s always worth checking out the small shops and galleries of Cambria. . One afternoon we enjoyed a wine tasting in Adirondack chairs under an umbrella with the ocean view on Moonstone at an inn that has a small off shoot of Madeline’s restaurant. We walked around Morro bay one day and bought some delicious seafood for dinner. We’ve frequented Paso Robles for wine tasting in the past, but it was a bit too warm this time with our dog. I should mention that the home is equipped with a chairlift should any mobility issues arise. I’m grateful I didn’t require it this trip but truly appreciate knowing it’s there. We want to thank the owner for sharing her home with us. She’s very hands on should you need her help in any way. We had a wonderful week’s stay, and hope to return another year. Until then we have great pictures and memories.
