My team met for a working retreat at this home. Very nice accommodations, clean, well equipped, easy to get in and out. It was nice having bathrooms for each bedroom. Beautiful river view, and yes, there are bears!

The property was great. The location was fantastic..... backing up to the river that runs through Gatlinburg and being only a few minute walk to hillbilly golf.
The interior was very well decorated, with comfortable furniture, lots of space, and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you might need. I Forget would definitely stay here again.

The house and location were beautiful. The house was fully stocked with everything you might need. The outdoor space was relaxing with plenty of seating. Highly recommend this property!

House was as advertised. River location fantastic and every morning spent drinking coffee before daylight in perfect solitude. Plenty of kitchenware for any need. Beds comfortable. Entire family loved it. TVs seldom turned on. Our intent is to rent again in near future.
One thing for owner to consider is a light gate on the deck. Since we had two young kids with us, we put up a portable gate at top of stairs for additional safety. This wasn’t a negative….just something that may enhance someone else’s stay with small children.

My wife and I, along with our three married children and their spouses, and our two grandsons (ages 6 & 3) have been taking an annual trip for the last several years. This was the first in which the accommodations were ideal!
We try to balance eating out and cooking. The kitchen and dining areas served us extremely well! The river view/access was simply awesome! That each bedroom has its own bathroom was a huge plus! Wish we could take this property with all its awesomeness on all our family vacations!

We were very pleased with the location, customer service and accommodations at Rivercation. For our large group, everyone had a bedroom with their own bathroom. We were all impressed with the house and all it had to offer. Situated on the river was wonderful- relaxing to sit and listen to the water and a convenient spot to fish. It is about a 30 minute walk to the Gatlinburg Convention center (about 1 1/2 miles). Blake was responsive and helpful with messages. We would definitely stay here again.

We stay in Gatlinburg every year. This was by far our Favorite place. The cabin, the location, the host, everything was perfect!! We'll definitely stay here again!!

It’s the perfect spot it’s right on the water, walking distance to downtown, trout fishing behind the house was great to caught trout over 20”. Definitely would stay there again.

Rented the house for family vacation because of its proximity to the river and amount of bedrooms. Very family friendly house, well stocked with necessary supplies (cooking, fishing, etc)! Great communication with owners. Would definitely rent there again.

We’ve been coming to the Gatlinburg area for over years and always looked for that perfect place that was close to downtown by either a short walk or quick drive would get you to Pigeon Forge as well. Rivercation had what we were looking for as far as location and the place itself was amazing with the view of Little Pigeon River you could sat out on the top or bottom deck and enjoy the sounds of the rustling waters. Blake was an awesome host and very responsive to make sure our vacation was the best. This will definitely be our choice for future stays.

This home has everything. Large well equipped kitchen. Great dining room table that comfortably seats eight. Plenty of seating in great room. Very scenic deck area with a view of the river. Such a relaxing sound. Five well equipped bedrooms with bathrooms. Hot tub, two decks, lawn area with fire pit. Bring wood and charcoal for grill. Within walking distance to Gatlinburg and trolley. This place has everything along with the best host to work with. You will enjoy your time here.

We loved everything about the cabin!! 5 bathes made it so easy in the morning to get all of us ready!! The owners are GREAT!! All the communication was friendly quick and accurate!! We would rent this cabin again!! We hated to leave!!

The cabin was roomy, clean and a great location to downtown Gatlinburg. We were able to walk and we didn’t have to drive and pay the high parking fees. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk. The desk over looks the river and was so nice sitting at night or during the day and relaxing. I will definitely keep this one in my files to rent again.

This property was perfect for our family of nine. The home is very welcoming, clean and well supplied. It's close enough for walking to town and has room for the kids to play outside.

4 families (Husband and Wife) siblings - Ages 60+ to 70+
We enjoyed the stay. They had great amenities and were within the walking distance as stated.
However, the kitchen and baths were not very clean. Counters and dining table had crumbs. Bathrooms had dirty floors and tubs had soap scum on sides. Would like to recommend that a plastic cover be put over dining table so it can be easily cleaned and avoid splinters. Two guest did get splinters when wiping down the table. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We had a terrific stay! Proximity to downtown was perfect. Close enough to walk but far enough to throughly enjoy the natural beauty of the property without all the tourist traffic. My one minor critique would be the bbq grill was rusty. No one wanted to clean it so it went unused. Other than that it was awesome. Thank you, Blake. I’d stay again and highly recommend the place to others. 5 out of 5 stars!!

The house was perfect for our 5 couple get away. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and television. The gathering space was large and accommodated all we planned to do. The river out back was beautiful and we enjoyed just being there together. We saw lots of wildlife while enjoying the river and found the entire time refreshing. The owner was very responsive to every question and need we had. This group has travelled together many times, been in wonderful houses, but this house was by far our best overall experience.

This place is beautiful. The location is perfect. All accommodations were in tact for the time we were there. Host is truly the best I’ve had since I’ve started booking to visit. Truly recommended.

Our group of 5 had a wonderful time and couldn't have been more impressed with the home and its location! With the busy Gatlinburg traffic, it was wonderful to walk into town for shopping, dining and all the local sites. While town is very fun to visit, we rated our favorite & best time hanging at the house! The TVs were never turned on and enjoyed being right on the river, taking in the views from both levels of decking, and playing games at the large family dining table. The bonus was each bedroom having a private bath. Literally, every room was very well appointed. We will come back and we highly recommend putting this VRBO on your must-booking!

This trip was a Christmas present to our family from us. Beautiful house that sits right next to the river! Everything was immaculate and the house was well stocked with supplies and kitchen items. The grandkids loved playing in the river and the rest of us enjoyed sitting out back watching and listening to the water roll over the rocks! The property host has been awesome with quick responses! Definitely a five star house!

This vacation spot was perfect for our family. You can walk to Gatlinburg from this VRBO location. Our young grandchildren had no problem walking into town with us. Mountain coaster, putt putt golf, Ripley’s aquarium, restaurants, scenic Smokey mountain drives plus to much more to list, something for every age. We brought fishing poles and fished for rainbow trout in the back yard. We ended up purchasing daily fishing license. Thursday is when they restock the rivers so no fishing in the city limits. It was very relaxing listening to the river. We cooked and grilled during our stay and the house has everything you need. I’ve been to many VRBOs and this one is top notch. You couldn’t find a better location for a Tennessee/Gatlinburg trip. Don’t forget to open your bedroom window at night to listen to the river:)

We were suppose to go in a backpacking trip, but with the rain we decided to just do a quick trip to Gatlinburg. This house was Amazing the guys got to fish, we went on some hikes, and did some downtown tastings. The house is in a great location and will definitely book again. Host were awesome as eell.

Great location: we were able to walk downtown and not have to deal with parking! We spent a lot of time on the river. The kids enjoyed playing on the banks and fishing! The house was perfect for our family groups! The living space was open and great for hanging out and cooking. It was nice that each family group had their own bedroom and bathroom!! Blake was a great host and was always quick to respond; even making a trip to the house when the trash was filled! We will definitley recommend to others and would book again!

This lovely property is so well designed and comfortable. Even though it is only one block from the action of Gatlinburg, because of the peaceful river, you can’t hear the bustle of the town. Sitting on the two level back deck, we watched bald eagles and blue heron fly up and down the river while enjoying the gorgeous blooming dogwoods. Each room having it’s own bathroom was such a convenient bonus. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The beds were comfortable, and now I feel spoiled. lol

The property was spacious, clean and inviting. The creek was an added bonus. One negative that we experienced was that we needed more pans for cooking for eight people, but overall everything else was great.

Everything was how it was described. The property was perfect and very convenient to the main street of the town. Check in was simple. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.
