My family and I loved this cottage! We needed a dog-friendly place for our trip to the Finger Lakes and we booked pretty close to our travel date, so I was worried we wouldn’t get a great property but this place well exceeded our expectations! The cottage itself is adorable and on the grounds of the Rose Hill Mansion. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was nice and had pots, pans, silverware, etc., and the bathroom was large and clean. Having a washer and dryer was great. The living room was comfortable and has a smart TV. The AC kept the house comfortably cool during mid-August. The cottage has views of Seneca Lake from the picnic area outside. There is a pond on the property and you can hear the frogs croaking when you’re outside at night, which was fun for my kids to hear (and my dogs, haha)! Geneva is a short drive away for Wegmans and any other shopping needs. Close to wineries, too. We would definitely return to this cute cottage!

This cottage could not have been more perfect for my brother who is wheelchair bound. It is spacious, clean, and easy for anyone in a wheelchair to get around. Upon arrival we were provided with a little bottle of dish soap + sponge, a roll of paper towels, rags, extra trash bags, and one load worth of Tide. The home sleeps four and we were given exactly four towels. This was the only dilemma we really had since my brother requires 2 to 3 towels to shower. Thankfully there was a nice washer and dryer on property though!

Super cute cottage with everything you need on a beautiful property! I would highly recommend and definitely return! It was very cozy!

We spent two weeks in the cottage. It was perfect location for us. We could walk and run the trails to the lake everyday along with visiting breweries and wineries. The cottage is exactly as described. The only pleasant surprise is the fact it is the only cottage on the mansion property.

This property is just okay. It does match the pictures exactly and is plenty sufficient if you need somewhere to stay but there isn’t anything overwhelmingly special about it. I found it to be a little dirty with a lot or dead bugs (and alive) everywhere. I counted at least 5 spiders inside and lots of webs. We didn’t have towels, the welcome bag, or dog bag upon arrival and had to call twice. I don’t know that I’d stay here again.

Cute little house. We were comfortable and it was the perfect location. Beautiful grounds, near Ventosa Winery.

Exceptionally clean three BR. Only 1 bath. Kitchen has everything you need. It is on the grounds of historic Rose Hill Mansion. It a direct view of the lake from the house itself but easy stroll to some tables on the big property to enjoy wine and cheese and watch the sun set. Very convenient to amazing parks in Geneva. Many good restaurants around and a great grocery store (Wegmans).
