The location was private and easy to locate. Check in time was a bit later than we would have preferred. Great family get together experience.

There was a safety concern w deck railings, they were fastened on with temporary brackets. The property had basic utensils but every thing seemed cheap and outdated for what we paid. One guest found old bathing suits under her bed which was totally gross, like it wasn't cleaned properly. The views and location were top notch and nice house and space, just needs work and updating. I know the owners are working on it and are new.

We had family come in from all over the country for a family reunion. We had two babies, two kids, plus adults and we all were very very comfortable in this house. It was very clean and the perfect location overlooking the lake.

Great location. Lots of king size beds with bathrooms and plenty of space in the great room and main level for meals and gatherings.

We had a group of 12 and enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place.

The home is beautiful and for has a great view with many rooms. It was a memorable time for all.

We used this house for a bachelorette party weekend. It was only 15 minutes from downtown galena and was a short drive to all the wineries. It had enough space for all of us and the views were amazing! Would definitely recommend this location to others.

This was a great home for our family of 13. Plenty of room, beautifully decorated, lots of privacy, the balconies were awesome to sit out on and see the Lake. The pools were an added bonus at the club house. We got to meet the owners. Very nice people. When we had questions they were quick to respond. Wish the TV in the basement wouldn’t have been so glitchy and wish there would have been better water pressure upstairs in the shower, but these are all things we dealt with. Wonderful vacation spot and would consider renting again if we went to Galena

I attend an annual girls trip. There were 13 of us and we hade a marvelous tome. The house was very spacious. The view simply amazing. We enjoyed the wrap around balconies. One thing I didn’t like was the downstairs queen beds. One room too soft. The other room too hard. I would recommend.

This house was the perfect setting for our annual family gathering. There were three families (three generations)--11 of us in total, aged 10 to 76--and we each loved our stay. The house is spacious and has many areas that are perfect for small groups to visit, read, and play group games. The dining table was large enough to fit all of us for mealtimes, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Each of the five bedrooms we used had its own bathroom with all but one having direct contact with a balcony overlooking Lake Galena. There was room enough to set up a badminton net, and a driveway long/large enough to accommodate four-square AND a water-balloon fight. Areas to play basketball, swim, kayak and ride horses were all on the Galena Territory property, and we took advantage of all. We can't say enough about this house and the location. Big, beautiful, clean, and convenient to "downtown" Galena. Who could possibly ask for more?

Family (elderly parent, adult children, college age grandkids) spent lovely 4 days at this property to reconnect after being separated during the pandemic. Great lake view with seating from all 3 levels and plenty of gathering space on main level and game space on lower level with ping pong table. Unit very clean and solid internet access. Weaknesses were low water pressure on 3rd level when lower levels using water and mixed TV connectivity. Two steps entrance to home without railing was manageable with assistance for elderly father. Amenity cards to Eagle Ridge Resort enabled renting very affordable pontoon boat. and 2 swimming pool options , one very kid oriented, helpful as lake is not swim-friendly. (Family did not golf but plenty of course options for golfers as well). Owner provided very clear instructions from get-go so no need for additional contact. Overall, a very nice get-away option.

The property was in a great location. Overall the house was nice. It did need a very deep cleaning and a few things addressed in the home. Beds were very comfortable and the view was gorgeous

The view was amazing! This house accommodated 9 of us, giving us each our own bedroom and most of us our own bathrooms. 1 bathroom had to be shared but that was not a problem. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots & pans, toaster, microwave, etc. Just like home - We loved it!!!

So easy, clean, scenic and wonderful! Great space that accommodated us and gave us comforting shared space to socialize

The house was extremely clean, and the managers were exceptionally promt at returning emails. The house layout was excellent for a large group, lots of room to get together, but also plenty of space to spread out when needed. Kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, utensils and serving wear we needed. Plus it was BEAUTIFUL scenery. I would recommend four wheel driving if you're arriving in slippery weather... But it's the Midwest and that's too be expected! We had a great stay and hope to return!!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was very nice! Plenty of space. No major issues and the owners were responsive when we had questions about the house. They were able to address anything under their control (took awhile for the association's snow plows to get to our driveway, but not much can be done about that). Views were very nice even in winter and are probably spectacular during other months. Note: there is no hot tub anymore so the owner should update the listing description and description of one of the photos.

This experience could not have been better. The property was everything we had hoped for and more. Absolutely beautiful views, spacious, clean, wide-open, and plenty of room for our six kiddos to run and reunite. Our family kept remarking that we felt we were in a Hallmark Christmas card. We had a lovely snowfall on our second day -- so stunning! Thank you for the incredible experience. We will definitely return soon.

Everything about this home is wonderful. It was clean and it was fully stocked with everything we needed. The views were amazing. It was spacious and the decor was adorable!!!! We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Upon arrival, we were completely amazed at how beautiful the house was! The online pictures do it no justice. Gorgeous lake house! In addition, the house was extremely clean! I’ve stayed in Galena several times, and this is by far the cleanest house we’ve had! This made everything more comfortable for all. The views from the porches are stunning. We were about 5 minutes from the marina, and several family members went fishing on the lake. The boat rentals, etc. are easy to rent. The kids and adults both spent quite some time playing ping pong and lounging in the basement. Fully stocked kitchen and the gas grills made dinners easy to prepare and serve. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously and will most definitely rent this Galena lake house again. Thank you

Beautiful location overlooking lake with everything we needed in large home. Lots to do in area. Great place to get together with family in a safe enviornment.

Spacious and well maintained. We loved the views from inside and from the decks. We played a lot of ping pong. The kitchen was well equipped. We all enjoyed walking around Galena and different people in the group rode ponies, bicycled, played regular or mini golf, hiked, toured the Grant home. The pool wasn’t available at this time. We all had a wonderful time.

The pictures of the interior of the awesome great room, kitchen, dining and sun room didn't do the property justice. It was even more lovely in person. So many bedrooms, each with their own bath, made our family get together so comfortable! We had 12 adults and two boys (6 & 9), and we all had a great time enjoying the ping pong table, areas to play games and huge outdoor deck with lake views. The lake views are gorgeous, and even though it was pretty hot and muggy, we spent as much time on the deck as possible. Such a great respite for our family after all of this time cooped up at home because of the pandemic. Thank you for a lovely stay, Mike & Skippy!
