La vue et la localisation

Lorsque l'étage supérieur est loué le manque d'isolation acoustique vous donne l'impression que vos voisins sont chez vous. Par exemple on entendait parfaitement la communication téléphonique des voisins bien que ce dernier parlait très normalement. Leurs pas, la TV etc.

Quiet, comfortable, had everything I needed and the hist was very helpful

Cleaning hadn't been done from previous guests. Bed not made. Was cleaned next day while I was out. The host did provide an explanation which was acceptable

The brown spare blanket in the room was rather smelling of really bad toejam.

Very nice clean apartment, well situated not too far from everything. There is a small shopping centre within walking distance. Had a well equipped kitchen.

Unfortunately the lounge, like most rentals not the best. Would have liked use of the laundry but was locked. We did find a laundromat not far away and used the unit clothes line.

The location was perfect for us to join our wider grieving family

In the upstairs kitchen there was no tea towel available and when text sent to landlord about this we had no reply so we found one in the garage, we also found a cockroach. In the downstairs unit the sofa bed is really uncomfortable, and the shower head flops around.

The location was close to my cousins house which is where my family gathering was.

We were there for maybe half an hour and were sitting on the balcony just unwinding from our long trip. We were playing music but it was not loud. The neighbour came and told us to keep it down because his room is right next to the property. It killed our vibe straight away because we were there for one night and the majority of that time would be spent at my cousins. So we were only really at the house for about an hour before we had to leave to go to our gathering and then again to sleep. The bath had pubic hair in it and the couches were quite uncomfortable.

Breakfast was not provided. The kettle had ants in it, yuk. We had to ring the owner to find the basement flat,(not apartment as stated). The noise from the people renting upstairs was as if they had jack boots on and as they finished their stuff at 3.30am, they woke us up and made loud noise for an hour at least. Not their fault, the house has no noise separation between upstairs and downstairs.

Noisey, no instructions for entry from booking.com, and ants in the kettle is discusting. No proper harbour view as promised, photos of the view may have been from upstairs. There was only one proper bed and yet two were offered. The fold out bed in the wardrobe looked very uncomfortable.

I liked the facility (downstairs apartment) nice size. Peaceful although you could hear planes, I didnt mind. I see the top half of house also gets hired out, I however was the only occupant which might have contributed to the enjoyable peaceful stay
