shower not very powerful and not high enough for someone over 5ft

The apartment was great apart from the bathroom The linen was spotlessly clean the kitchen was mostly clean the towels provided were clean & good quality but way too small

The bathroom let it down there was no pressure in the water so the shower ran hot & cold, the lock was broken & I has to clean it b4 use. There was no floomat & the floor wqs quite slippery when wet. Tbf the owner said they'd look at all of this so its prob been rectified as they were unaware of thie

bright apartment with windows. washing machine was useful.

extremely low water pressure in showerhead. molded spare toilet rolls. no bath mat provided. washing machine provided but no equipment for drying (e.g. hanging rack) at all, wardrobe only equipped with 2 hangers. did not use the kitchen because it doesn't look very clean. bar stool unusable. cheap beds. no mattress protector. Even had to help host to strip the bed linens before leaving. top floor without elevator. generally impractical for family stay.

Bathroom handle broken so got shut in bathroom. No plug in kitchen so hard to wash up. No kitchen roll to wipe. Sofa v hard. Leak in bathroom cabinet drawer, shower leaked from appliance. Shower water too hot or too cold, gave up on shower had to have bath.

Clean and tidy apartment with enough equipment in the kitchen. Good beds. Netflix on TV and good WiFi.

Apartment was a bit difficult to find: tried to ring host, but didn't get any respond. Hardly heard anything beforehand from the host. Temperature of shower changed every second: suddenly very hot, then stone cold. Hand shower didn't work. 1 light in bathroom didn't work, so it was quite dark. The bar stools in the kitchen are very dangerous: very unsteady! A lot of noise at night and no dark curtains in the bedroom.

A lovely apartment. It was in a quiet area, and 40 minutes on the train to Central London. This was our first solo travelling experience, and it was a specious apartment and was comfortable, I’m definitely booking again.

The bathroom door handle didn’t work properly, other than that it was lovely.

Close to where we were meeting to go to the wedding. Spacious flat ,secure parking available .Near the town.

We had issues with housekeeping .The main entrance leading to the stairs to the flat was dirty and had a pram full of letters and leaflets. no-one had cleaned this. The flat was ok at first appearance. The towel provided was very small for drying a body. Shower did not work and had a gimmicky shower head which was useless with only 2 tiny holes , Bathroom was very dark as only one dim light,no mirror light, or extractor worked. First day extremely noisy till 4am with roadworks on A120. The owner had the phone switched off all the time. On Saturday,on return from the wedding there was no electricity in the flat. No hot water, no kettle, no microwave,no lights. checked that breaker did not trip. We tried to contact the owner but phone switched off. It was terrible. We could not even make a cup of tea or shower after the wedding.No fridge ,freezer Tv, internet,worked.We would have expected an emergency number for an event like this but nothing was provided. In the end we had to leave because we could not stay there. We missed the Sunday ceremony because we had to go to a friend's house which was far away.There are regulations re this and renting to other people. There was no hairdryer ,shower gel,provided or an iron with ironing board or a hoover to clean.The owner clearly has no idea about hospitality. After all the awful experience, we have had no apology, or a refund for the last night that we could not spend there. My husband is 69 and could have had an injury in the dark bathroom trying to get out. Owner needs to look after their bookings during the stays and forget about long haul flights whilst people are going through this.The bathroom could have same lights as bright ones the hallway.. the rusty sink hole in the bathroom could be changed and extra towels should be provided for a three day stay. The residents broke all the rules, music at night, smoking etc. and did not communicate to help us when we discovered there was no electricity.

Lovely appartment. Beds were so comfy. Both had the best sleep in ages. Bus stops close to get in and out of town.

Water pressure seemed a bit low. But nothing can be done about that.

The flat on the surface looked very nice and modern and the space was good and looked same as photos

Housekeeping not good - the following were noted: All inside of the cups dirty with stains clearly visible Small teaspoons need good clean - grubby Dirty oven Dirty toaster trays with crumbs old sock under sofa and dust Bed linen very thin and cheap - not what you would expect in 'luxury apartment' Shower screen glass all smeared Shower head needs descaling - not working efficiently Tiles near sink - not cleaned as evidence splash marks no mattress protectors on beds Blackout blinds needed as venetian blinds do not block light out No guest folder so no information about places to eat/go or how to work tv, so it was stuck on one channel for news Not in Birchanger village as expected - so confusing as it was about 20 mins or so walk into Bishop Stortford to pubs and restaurants Communal entrance hallway - dirty mats with pushchairs and a bike left there - not good first impression Host was very slow to respond and had to contact Booking.com to get check in info - didn't reply when we couldn't find the place - so communication shockingly poor when we had problem - never heard from her at all during our stay despite the message saying contact me if any problems!. Barrier was nuisance as had to phone a number to get in and out each time we went in and out
