Best VRBO I’ve ever booked. Janette was incredibly responsive the entire weekend - offering suggestions for beach access and provided lunch spot recommendations to make it easier on our group to just relax and be present. Beach chairs, wagon, beach toys all included. Check out process was a dream! Never made us jump through hoops or use our last day to be spent knocking out a checklist. Will absolutely be rebooking for our next getaway.

The property was spotlessly clean. Since the home was so well organized communciations were minimal but the few we had with owner was very. The owner was very responsive and lived close to the property if anything had been needed. The views from every bedroom were beautiful & peaceful especially looking at the marsh and spectacular sunsets. Highly recommended during a trip to the Low Country with easy access to downtown Charleston.

This was one of the best properties that we've ever stayed at. Great views, prime location, well stocked kitchen, and Janette is the ultimate host. All our questions were answered promptly, along with good advice on things to do.

We were in Isle of Palms for a weekend and stayed at this beautiful home. The check in process within the gated community was quick and easy. The home was located on a dead end on a quiet street with amazing views and easy access to the beach. The decor was relaxing and very comfortable.
The beds were amazingly comfortable, ac was perfect on a hot weekend, lounging space inviting and the home had all the amenities we could ask for including beach chairs and umbrellas, stocked kitchen, inviting towels, washer and dryer and the list goes on.
On top of that the hosts reached out and were wonderfully responsive!! Highly recommend!

Our stay included my family of 4 as well as my parents, making 6 total. The house had plenty of room for us. I especially liked that we were able to stay upstairs and share a Jack and Jill style bathroom with our young kids. There are also built in baby gates on the stairs which was a nice added feature that came in handy every night. The home was clean upon arrival and we loved the screened in the porch. It was SO nice to sit out there every night and watch the sunset. The only real downside to the property is that it doesn’t include a golf cart. We knew that ahead of time and know the area well so we just planned accordingly. We cared more about having a nice clean place to stay, so this home worked well for us. If it had a golf cart, I think this would be an absolute gem of a rental.

House overall- Very clean, quiet, and contains everything you need for a weekend getaway. The board games were fun and we loved watching the birds. It rained a lot over the weekend, so we were able to utilize lots of house time with board games and cozy family time. Being able to still be "outside" during the rainy day on the screened deck felt so exquisite, we ate almost every meal out there.
Kitchen- Stocked well. We were able to find everything we needed. The stove was a little challenging to figure out at first, but luckily there were instructions on the cabinet to turn off the child lock.
Furniture- SO comfy. We absolutely loved using the lazy Susan on the dining table to play board games. The couch on the screened deck was more than capable of nap time.
Environment- Beautiful marsh surrounding most of the house. The golfers on the course were a little distracting at times but also enjoyable to spectate/people watch.
Bathrooms/Bedrooms- Nothing to gripe about. Very clean. Great presentation with the towels. The shower upstairs is top tier.
Entry/Exit- check in and out was very easy and we had no problem coming and going securely.
The only thing I wish we had was a guidebook or some sort of binder with some more info on the area.

We enjoyed very much our stay. The house is lovely and the location is absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed taking pictures of the sunrise and the sunset on the marsh. The location is perfect, not far from the ocean and very quite. Janette was very helpful. She is a great host.

We had the most relaxing stay! The house is appropriately named “Serenity on Marsh Island.” We spent most of our time on the screened in patio enjoying the beautiful and peaceful marsh, listening to the birds and watching the herons, egrets and osprey. We even had the opportunity to see several deer passing through the marsh. The house is very clean and decorated so nicely to complement the coastal setting. We experienced great communication with the host, which was helpful as this was our first trip to Charleston. We hope to come back and stay in this lovely house again!

The setting of this home was perfection. The back porch and deck were so peaceful and the perfect place to enjoy mornings and evenings. Perfect location with just a quick walk to the beach. Loved the quiet neighborhood as well. Host was so great communicating and recommending things as well. We will definitely be back.

This was the most immaculate vacation property I have ever seen. It was beautifully decorated and it is clear by the quality of the furnishings and supplies that the owner cares about details and about the guests’ comfort. In addition, the views of wildlife and of the sunsets over the marsh were incredible!
Janette was so pleasant and extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and providing other information. Everything was perfect!!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The location and amenities were so beautiful and comfortable that staying home and relaxing was the real vacation here. The towels are plush and linens luxurious. Multiple seating locations inside and outside made it a tough choice where to read! The location can’t be beat, close to so many enjoyable activities… golf, beach, tourist sights and downtown Charleston. Janette is a generous and attentive hostess and was available at all times should a question arise. We look forward to staying here again and would recommend this home, host, and location highly!

We have rented a lot of properties at Wild Dunes, and this, by far, is one of the cleanest and well-maintained. It feels peaceful and less-busy than the beach side. Lovely decor, 3 separate bedrooms, and tons of porch space. It is on the marsh side but is just a quick walk or bike ride over to the beach side/Sawgrass Inn area. I hate to share this secret gem with everyone else as we will definitely be back.

The property is located on the very end of the street with great views of the peaceful marsh surrounding over half of the house. The owners have appropriately named this property Serenity! It was peaceful and quiet! The house was spotless and was well appointed with anything we might need. Yes, we will indeed plan to stay here again! The property owners were very accommodating and helpful!

The sunset from this home was beautiful. The house was clean and as advertised in the pictures. It was perfect for the relaxing weekend we had. With the extreme high tide we actually caught fish in the backyard. It is a little ways from the beach.

This house was everything we wanted and more. It's exactly as described, although the porch is even more fabulous than it looks. We spent a ton of time out there enjoying the ebb and flow of the marsh, beautiful breezes, and breathtaking views. Wonderful host and very comfy house. Highly recommend!

This was my first time visiting IOP. This property exceeded my expectations. The first thing we noticed was how clean the property was, inside and out. The check in process was smooth. Janette was available for any questions I had.
I loved how close the property is to the beach. I was able to walk to the beach in 12 minutes with 2 toddlers. We utilized the wagon, beach chairs, and beach toys available on the property.
We enjoyed the marsh view while sitting on the screened porch. The cherry on top of our stay was how comfortable the beds/bedding were. I would recommend this property 10/10.

Quiet location on the marsh. Nice screen porch and open deck for enjoying the marsh view. Owner is an excellent communicator and provides lots of extras like toiletries, laundry detergent, dish/dishwasher detergents, beach towels, beach equipment and a well stocked kitchen.

Our family had a wonderful experience at Wild Dunes. We visited for the first time and couldn’t have been happier with our rental choice. We spent most our spare time on the screened porch overlooking the gorgeous marsh. The sunsets were spectacular! We grilled out and did a seafood boil another night at home and had everything we needed, in the well equipped kitchen. You are to close to the beach, golf and restaurant’s in Wild Dunes. Wild Dunes also was a great location to explore neighboring areas, as well. We had dinner in Charleston and also Sullivan’s Island! The host is extremely easy to work with and helpful. Highly recommend this home. Note: we rented a golf cart and it was great to get around island.

Couldn't ask for a better house to spend a week in! 4 adults and a 5 month old baby and everything we could need was easily accessible. Definitely recommend renting a low speed vehicle to zip back and forth from the beach and around the neighborhood! We grilled out several nights and enjoyed the sunsets over the marsh. It's so peaceful. Janette was so quick to text me back with any questions. Couldn't recommend this home more!

From start to finish, our stay was relaxing and so fun! The owners have thought about absolutely everything, making our vacation very easy and low stress--not always the case with a toddler in tow!
We practically LIVED on the screen porch. You get a gorgeous breeze off the marsh, which seems like a small miracle in the heat of July. It is walkable to the beach, though we sometimes did a car dropoff closer to the beach access with all the gear and had the driver double back then join on our bike. Just depends on your crew.
Comfy beds, thoughtful additions like shampoo and extra blankets, plenty of games and books for rainy days... I can't recommend this place enough. Counting down until we get to return!

This house was perfect! Beautiful views from every window, perfect quiet location, clean updated interior, the most amazing view of the sunset and the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. We will definitely be coming back!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! It was located on a quiet street, tucked away on the marsh, which allowed for beautiful views. It was just a short walk to the beach. The house included everything you may need for your stay (pots, steamer, extra blankets, etc.)
The owners were VERY responsive the entire weekend and very accommodating. I even left a necklace and she offered to mail it to me immediately!
Overall, I highly recommend! I will definitely be back :)

Great spot in the dunes, within walking distance to most things there. We didn't have the best weather so we didn't get to explore the beach access in the dunes. Would have been nice to have been able to go to the pool but it is reserved for members only, like most things in the dunesand the parking situation by the market there could use some more signage or spots for non members who are not staying at the inn or resort. Golf and tennis is available to guests though but we had really bad luck with the weather. Still an overall great stay in an amazing place with easy access to great food and things to do in Charleston. Host was great with good communication and the process was easy. :)

We had a group of three girls. This house was so well stocked with everything you’d need in the kitchen, great beach chairs, a great screened porch with an awesome view of the marsh and the birds. The beds and linens were all really comfortable too! Janette was very responsive and great to work with!

This vrbo is gorgeous! Recently renovated with gorgeous floors and a spectacular marsh view. Janette thought of absolutely everything. She had beach towels, wagon, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and an ice chest. All of which made packing for a beach trip so much easier.
The home was perfectly clean. My husband and I loved watching the sunset over the marsh. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

Excellent property with easy check in and out process. Located within the Wild Dunes neighborhood, this place is perfect if you want quiet and to get away. 3 large beds kept us comfortable, and a fantastic screened porch that we spent most of our time in. All you need to bring is clothes, food, and beverages.

The home was perfect! Great view; great amenities. Quiet and overlooking the beautiful Marsh and away from the bustle. The netted sitting area is perfect for sitting and watching the day go by. Easy walk to the beach, about 5-10 minutes. Beds are comfortable. Home is beautifully decorated and modern.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. Isle of Palms was a great place to stay as we toured the Charleston area. We liked being very close to the beach, but actually staying right on the marsh. This home is in such a peaceful setting, and we loved the screened porch overlooking the marsh. Serenity is convenient to everything in the Charleston area. The house was beautifully decorated, well furnished, and everything was in good repair. Our group included three couples, so we loved that each bedroom had a comfortable, king-sized bed. our host, Jeanette, was gracious and easy to contact. We would highly recommend this property and would love to return someday.

Janette was a wonderful host. Her communication was excellent! Our check in and out was extremely smooth. The house has wonderful views from every room. The house was well stocked including the showers & laundry room. There was also a very nice selection of books. We had 3 couples and an infant and we had more than enough space. We had such a wonderful time that we already booked for next year.
