Very good location, next to restaurants, shop and near to Rabacal. Helpful personel. Apartment is big and so clean.

Perfect as a base for hiking or going out on beach days. Definitely not a luxury apartment but perfect for the money. Seamless check in and checkout

Beds were a bit hard!

Our plane was 6 hours late so we arrived in the middle of the night and the host sent us instructions for check in, we were very grateful. Local red wine as a welcome gift. Nice balcony to chill on with a view of hills. Very nice supermarket Pingo Doce approximately 7 mins away from the apartment by car, where you can get fresh fish and delicious pastel de nata. City beach near the supermarket. The apartment has some useful amenities such as an electric kettle and a toaster. A few cooking basics such as salt and pepper available.

You have to buy your own toilet paper. We stayed at the apartment for 6 days (2 people) and we were given only one toilet paper for the entire stay. When we contacted the host about it, she told us she wouldn’t give us more and we had to buy our own. Obviously it’s not a big deal, but it’s very unusual and we’ve never had such an experience in multiple hotels/apartments in Europe and in Madeira, and we have been hosts ourselves too. Fortunately we had a motorbike to drive around so driving to the supermarket to get toilet paper was easy, but it would be worse for someone without a vehicle to move around. I wish the host would buy more toilet paper for the guests (a packet only costs 1 euro) as it’s a basic thing to provide and would save some time and effort for guests on vacation. The frying pan is very small and therefore inconvenient to cook in, it would be great if there was a bigger one. No mosquito nets on the windows and lots of mosquitos.

The room we got was bigger and much nicer than i expected from the photos. Everything was clean and you can view the mountains/city from the balcony. superb location for 25 levadas trail.

We rested as a family of 3 people (with a small 4-year-old son), stayed in this place for 23 nights. At the booking stage - we were very much helped by the administrator Victoria. Absolutely, lovely and helpful person! Already on the spot we were met, Neli: throughout the rest she was our guardian angel!.. The apartment itself is very cozy. The location is super convenient! Near-café, shop. To the beach - 5min by car, min 20 walk from the Mountain. Summary: an incredible place, with wonderful people! Love - as for the whole island: at first sight!❤️🌐

Very nice and clean big room with a small kitchen box in it. It's close to the mountain and even if you want to walk more you can go to 25 Fontes Levada by foot and trough one of the food tunnels.

it's not so close to the beach that it seems to go down to the beach is like 20 minutes but to go back up to the apartment is 40. But after all no one goes to Madeira for the beaches(the mountain is much much more beautiful and better choice)

Location is good. The Rabical area is accessible from here. The apartment was spacious with a kitchen having all of the equipment for a Chef (although I used very basic). In Calheta there is a variety of restaurants and a good Supermarket to buy supplies.

There is a need for a net in bedroom window to prevent musquitoes. In the navigator the address does not exists since it is a small alley. Key in “Sunset Star” apartments to find the location.
