We ha a great time at your rental property in South Padre. The location was fantastic, just steps from the pool and the beach. The condo was super clean upon arrival and the instructions we simple and easy. The kitchen was well stocked with the items needed to prepare quick meals, and the A/C was a cool. Thank you for a great week in South Padre. We will hope to stay here again.

We were very happy with our rental! Our family of 3 had more than enough room to spread out, the kitchen had enough pots and pans/utensils for cooking. The washer and dryer worked great, and our unit had plenty of towels! The staff at Bahia Mar - super friendly and helpful. We rented a grill, which was very clean, and staff set it up for us. Even with a storm coming through, there was plenty to do on the island, and we took advantage of opportunity to rest and watch TV when it rained. The sun deck and pool were perfect when the beach was too rough for swimming, so we really didn’t feel like we missed out on anything! Beds were very comfortable, and living room furniture was as well. Staff of Rent of Padre was terrific, check in/out was seamless and easy. I’d definitely stay here again!

A family vacation long overdue. We played on the beach, ran to the pool, and back to the beach again. The condo was the perfect place. True it doesn't have a beach view, but what it does have is quiet. The perfect base camp, we enjoyed the showers, the beds, and the air conditioning. Our refrigerator stopped working, but a quick call to the manager, and we were met with a cooler and a large bag of ice for the night. The next morning, the fridge worked, and our vacation was back on! We were very sad to leave the condo after a week, and we are already making plans to go back next year!

Have stayed at the same property previously but not at this condo. The location and beach access are fantastic. Private balconies and beach access are wonderful. Ability to rent a canopy is great too.
The condo was pretty clean with exception of carpet being pretty stained. There was a heavy must odor upon arrival, improved with turning AC down/cooler but still present. Washer and dryer is really not a very efficient process and is hidden in the AC closet. It never really got anything completely dry. We had a roach in the property one night, which I know can happen in Texas, but this was not the outdoor type.
The building appears to be needing a lot of maintenance on the outside. Leaking water from one unit and poorly lit stairways.

We loved this condo. There wasn't a beach view but it was very close to the beach and easily walkable. The resort has a private beach access and that kept the beach from being super crowded. Condo was clean and we had no issues.

Everything was great about our condo. Liked the way the door lock worked. The stairs to the unit were great. They were like half steps.The unit could use a mattress refresh. 2 of the 3 beds were horrible to sleep on.

Condo was great. Everything we needed AC worked great, towels, beach toys, kitchen supplies all provided. Master bedroom was on upper level so very private and quiet.
First bedroom and living area on the lower level but still up a flight of stairs and not very convenient to parking area to be warned if you bring a lot of stuff you may have to make several trips.
No view of beach or pool from any window but both are a short walk distance and the grounds/gardens are very nice and well kept.

Location was great! Private beach access. The actual condo itself was just a short walk to the beach. A very nice pool. The condo had beach chairs and sand toys and Cooler you can use.
My only suggestion would be if you plan on using the couch bed bring covers there were no extras. No big deal we made it work!
I did see a previous review saying there was no dryer on the property but there is. The washer is a 2 in 1. So there is a setting for washing and drying. The washer is the dryer!
Loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

they made us troubleshoot the washer that had water dripping out of it and locked our clothes inside. also only a washer that was messed up and not working, but no dryer on this property, the king size bed upstairs had hairs on it, the internet and wifi wasnt working, the TVs weren’t connecting to the internet even after we troubleshooted the internet and had to be on the phone with the internet company

Initially, difficult to find the front door. Make sure you're able to climb stairs, especially the spiral staircase to the Master. AC vent door in need of repair. A bit pricey considering there are no beach views from this unit. Also, bring a small fan to help with air circulation. Once we got past these issues it was a somewhat comfortable stay.

Rental has large master, smart tvs, well stocked kitchen and even left a goodie basket of travel supplies. There was also beach chairs and toys to use. Overall we had a good time and there was plenty if space. Would stay again.

Nice vacations
We were very comfortable and enjoyed very much our stay. The only thing that we missed is more places to hang towels and swimsuits in both bathrooms, because hanging stuff in balconies is not permitted.

Cons: This unit has no good view. It is located in building 5, which is far from the ocean. You can not see the ocean. The unit is outdated and dark. Needs renovation. The place was not well cleaned whe we arrived, found liquid soaps from last visitors.

Prs: Super close to beach and pools. Loved that you could rent tents and chairs with set up! Condo was very roomy, clean, and cool.
Cons: Outdated Kitchen, but still nice and in good shape. No full body mirrors, which def isnt the worse, but my teenager wasn't having it. Lol. And the washer/dryer combo was sooo slow.
Buttt, i would totally stay again.
