This was the second time my family and I stayed at this property. Our favorite part about this home is how it really gives the Adirondack feel compared to other properties. Both times we’ve stayed at this property it’s been clean upon arrival and the property managers are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, 5 minute drive to town, but also definitely walkable. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Old Forge!

This place was awesome! We went up for a long weekend with friends of ours and our kids and we all had a blast! Perfect little cabin! Great location. Nice quiet road for the little ones but still close to town. Communication with the owner and property manager couldn’t have been easier! Would recommend to anyone for a visit!

The location was perfect - beautiful, quiet neighborhood tucked away between wooded lots, close to town and trail. Cabin was perfect, comfortable, and clean. Communication was excellent, Melissa was very helpful! Highly recommend!

This cabin is beautiful! It has all the amenities needed for a convenient vacation. The property is beautiful and allowed us to have bonfires every evening (except for one rainy night). Our kids loved riding their bikes and scooters up and down the driveway, playing in the front yard, on the porch and were comfortable inside as well. This property is close enough to everything to be convenient, but far away enough to feel secluded. Lots of wildlife and quiet. The property managers, Melissa and Scott were helpful and friendly and offered their services at any time if needed. Highly recommend!

Quiet peaceful neighborhood that is perfect for relaxing. The house is close to all the various activities old forge has to offer. Our family made wonderful memories during our stay and hope to come back next year.

Beautiful home on a quiet street. Brian was quick to respond to any messages. Check in process was simple and easy and the caretakers (Scott and Melissa) also shared their knowledge of the area. The home had everything we needed and was well kept.

We found the camp in Thendara while looking for places to stay to hike around Old Forge. The reservation process was quick and easy, this was the first time I have used VRBO and so I was impressed at how simple it is! I emailed a question to Brian and he responded almost immediately and the caretakers Scott and Melissa called us with information and met us when we arrived to take us through the camp. The house is beautiful, newly renovated and extremely clean and well-kept but also cozy with lots of great ADK details like the stunning stone wall and open beamed living room. The house is also super close to everything you'd want to do in the area - hiking and kayaking are minutes away and you are also minutes from the village of Old Forge where there are tons of shops and restaurants. We had a great time in this beautiful home and hope to return when the fall leaves are in full display!

Brian was very fast to respond to my request and the booking process was simple. The property manager, Melissa, called me a couple days before our stay and ran through all the details, answered all my questions and told me she would meet us shortly after we checked in - she was so nice and a great resource who made us feel very welcome. The house and property are BEAUTIFUL - from the awesome front porch with cozy Adirondack chairs and table (which was the perfect place to drink my morning coffee), to the spacious and comfortable great room, to the well-sized bedrooms, and the back room. My daughter enjoyed riding her bike up and down the long driveway and we appreciated how walkable the neighborhood was - close to the Tobie Trail and a beautiful bridge over the Moose River. Everything is new and clean inside the house - and I loved how it was decorated! Beds were super comfy (not always the case with rentals) and kitchen was very well-appointed. We just felt very comfortable and “at home”. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back next year!
