Host pleasant and helpful. Provided a welcome drink on arrival aplates and cutlery to eat our packed meal. A good place for a stopover. Very easy to drive to Eurotunnel, less than 10 minutes.

Honestly, it's one of the best B&B stays I've had. Nic was the best host you could ask for, charming, funny, down to earth and just a generally sound guy. He made us feel so at home straight away, showed his round his absolutely stunning house (we asked to see!) and then we sat up all night drinking and chatting (not recommended when you've got a ferry to catch in the morning 😂 which we missed btw 😂). One of the main reasons we came to stay here other than the price, photos of the property and location a stones throw from the Eurotunnel and 30 mins from Dover port was of course his 2 beautiful Weimaraner's. They are adorable and if you love dogs they are worth the stay alone. Honestly can't rate this property highly enough. Don't think about booking in with Nic just do it. We will certainly be giving Nic a shout the next time we're heading into Europe.

How can you dislike anything here?

What a fantastic place to stay. The room was perfect and state of the art. Being so close to the Channel Tunnel was the icing on a very well made cake!! Would highly recommend Allen Ridge. Nic is the perfect host.

Love the location and Nic is so hospitable and friendly. Amazing house.

Personal preference but I found the pillows too hard and uncomfortable.

Wonderful overnight stay on the way to France. Amazing hosts with their lovely dogs were so welcoming & great walks from the doorstep. The room & bathroom were very comfortable/spotlessly clean & would love to come back. Thank you Veronika & Nic for a great stay & lovely hospitality!

Veronika and Nik are absolutely wonderful hosts. Friendly, relaxed, accomodating and full of passion for Hythe. The accommodation is utterly tranquil, spacious and very comfortable. We were there for one night to get the Eurotunnel and it was so so convenient, we'll definitely be staying again. Comfy bed, top notch bathroom, and a great wee town to potter about in and get something to eat.
