The home has a wrap around covered porch so you can get breezes from ocean or harborside! It is located within walking distance of Scituate Harbor and all of the shops and restaurants. Lovely hammock to lay in and watch the boats and birds and seals! Perfect location!

Great location near Sand Hills beach and lighthouse. Close to main drag with cute shops & restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the morning and the back deck watching the seals. Bob was a great host and communicated with us throughout the stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bob and Barbara's house. The location was excellent, within walking distance to town (about 20 minute walk). Great views, nice and quiet at night. Hottub was a hit for the kids.

This property and its hosts are both extraordinary. The home has anything you might need and the location can’t be beat. The hosts are so welcoming and responsive and make you feel they are so happy to have you visit.

We had a wonderful week! The views from this home are unbeatable and the constant sound of the ocean is so peaceful. It’s a stone’s throw from the beautiful lighthouse and jetty’s where we did some fishing (and actually caught a striper!) and at low tide the lighthouse beach is perfect for seaglass hunting. It’s also a quick walk to the harbor full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location right on the ocean. The house is updated and in pristine condition. It has room air conditioners and fans; kitchen and baths well supplied. The owners are very helpful--needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

We had a wonderful time at Bob & Barb’s ocean home. The house was just as described. It was clean and very well equipped. Bob was lightning fast to respond to questions or concerns. We loved our stay at Cedar Point.

This was a perfect location for our return to Scituate to visit friends & family. Right on the water with great unobstructed views & convenient/quick access to the harbor. The house was clean, comfortable & exactly as advertised. Bob & Barb were very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful every step of the way. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It has been maintained very well and is extremely neat and clean. Bob and Barb were the best hosts! They literally have thought of everything. We stay at a lot of different rentals and this was by far our favorite. I mean who wouldn’t want to wake up to breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean! We can’t wait to go back!!!

This was a lovely property with kind, thoughtful hosts. In any of the three bedrooms, you get to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Very comfortable beds and nice showers. My only concern would be that this house is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. If stairs are difficult, this isn't your rental. Overall, a delightful place for a vacation.

This home is very welcoming! The view from the back porch is amazing. Hearing the waves splash on the rocks is so soothing. The house is stocked with everything you would need and more. Bob and Barb are great hosts. The gifts they left for us was so thoughtful. I highly recommend this location you will have a great experience and the neighbors are very friendly. The local restaurant food was soooo good!!!! Would definitely stay again.

Lovely location and great interface with the owner.

We had such a good time at this property, None of us girls wanted to leave. And there was plenty of room to spread out. Bob was very Nice and a helpful host. There Were gifts to take home and truffles, coffee, Cookies and candy there to greet us. The house was well supplied and thought Out, overall a very nice and fun four night stay.

Our family spend a lovely week in Scituate waking up to the ocean every day. The house was beautiful and well equipped for renters. The owners were super welcoming and very accommodating.

Loved the stay.

This home was perfect for our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers). The sunrise and sunset are both gorgeous from the decks, the lighthouse is right around the corner and the harbor is a beautiful walk along the ocean. The house is so nicely decorated and there is plenty of space. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the property was fantastic. We had all of our family come and enjoyed this magnificent location for the week. The property owners were super responsive when we had an issue with the upstairs bathroom and really tried to accommodate our needs. They even surprised us with toys for our two-year-old grandson's birthday. Little details made the difference even though the week was super-hot. The only thing that would have made this stay better was another window air conditioning unit for the upstairs, but again, we were there on a very hot week which probably isn't characteristic of this area. The breeze on the porch was amazing and watching the lobster boats every morning with our cup of coffee was a treat. We loved walking to the lighthouse and swimming at the many beaches in the area.

The host, property & location could not have been any better! House itself is spectacular - wonderfully clean, super comfortable beds & beautifully appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. I really look forward to returning

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We were visiting the area to take care of a family member and the house provided the perfect respite. The views are amazing. The house was clean, calm and inviting. And our hosts were incredibly thoughtful and considerate.
