Wonderful accommodations near to Foxford center. Gerry was a most gracious host. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when in the area

there was no breakfast
On our way to the place I received a call from the owner at 6pm, letting me know he was leaving for a few hours to attend a football game, and we would have to wait to check in. Not Impressed with that, so we had to kill over 1.5 hour to check in. If you say check in is between 6p-10p, then you darn well should be there or don't take the $$.

No breakfast. No water or glasses in bedroom or bathroom. No one around to request one. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The bed was comfortable but a jug of wstrr and hlass was lacking. I had great difficulty with the shower but finally got it going successfully. Still standing in the nip tunng nobs to no avail for 10 minutes was not ideal!

Peaceful stay in Foxford
We spent two nights here and couldn't ask for anything better.
The guesthouse was very clean, calm, and gives a cozy atmosphere. Perfect location just a few minutes walking from the town center.
Special mention to the owner Gerry who is a welcoming, funny, and lovely person.
We recommend this place if you travel to this area in Ireland

U prefer an en suite bathroom tho I had private bathroom it was down the hallway

The property was welcoming, warm and homely and very clean! The hospitality from Gerry, the host, was second to none and I had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this for a relaxing break or longer holiday. The warm hospitality of Ireland has done it again for me. Thank you.

No Breakfast in the price so that is fine
I booked what i thought was a room with an eunsuite which turned out to be room with an outside bathroom which should have been advertised as such.
The room was quite small for a couple .
The window board has some residue of previous guests which was not washed off
On the positive side the bed was comfortable with ample duvet etc
The general property seemed clean
At the price paid I was not happy overall and will not either recommend the property or come back again.
The owner was defensive when I pointed out about the bathroom situation

it’s location a little off the beaten track which I love even without a rental car, comfortable clean & although my arrival was around 3am the owner wasn’t flustered & made it happen, highly recommended
not much to dislike but if breakfast was included in the booking fee it’ll be 10/10 from me

Gerry is a really great host, very welcoming and facilitating. The room was very comfortable,the location handy and easy to find. A beautiful home!
