Very clean, and very good breakfast made by the host.

The breakfast was excellent for me. Fruit, yogurt, sliced meats/cheese, croissants, espresso. very good. The host was very good and patient in overcoming my language difficulties. There is a small supermarket just a few doors down and a shop up the road where you can get calzone, pizza and other take out food.

I wish I could give a higher score than 10/10!! What a fantastic place to stay. Everything was so cosy & spotlessly clean and the lady owner was exceptional in every way. She was so kind to have my room ready early and also gave me a lift to the port and back. It is a rare thing to find someone who is so caring and goes out of their way to help like this. As a solo traveler it was fantastic to be looked after so wonderfully. The room and the comfortable bed was perfect - I had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was amazing! I can honestly say my trip to Milazzo & Stromboli was all the more memorable thanks to my stay at Albergo Mendolia!

I was very surprised with the quality of the service. Very warm and helpful owner. It was not a problem for her to prepare breakfast one hour earlier than usually when I asked for such possibility.

only thing that would have made it better would have been availability of tea/coffee in room. looked like there was a coffee machine on landing but no teabags/ milk.
