The cowshed was a lovely place to stay. We had everything we needed for a lovely night away. We would definitely go back

There was nothing to dislike

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Cowshed. Simon & Sam make you feel very welcome and a great breakfast is a positive start to the day. The interior of the Cowshed is lovely with a stunning bathroom. The views from the accommodation are spectacularly beautiful. All in all a fantastic short break that we both loved. We will certainly be booking again. Chris & Denise.

Beautiful quiet location close to local amenities. Gorgeous decor along with lovely personal touches. Fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to make our short stay perfect.

Needs maybe a slightly larger collapsible removable table for eating breakfast in the room (if too cold/wet to eat outside), or even some lap trays for guests to use, we had to rearrange furniture to sit around the coffee table and also accommodate the trays it was served on. Breakfast itself was amazing, but was just a bit of a faff to be able to eat it comfortably

Parking spot available right outside the property location. Amazing and beautiful scenery/location. Wonderful architecture inside and out! Interior was extremely clean and homely and comfortable.

The breakfast was excellent, very tasty and well put together. The room and views were beautiful and the owners were just fabulous. They couldn’t do enough for you and were very helpful. Everything was just perfect but I’d imagine if there was any problems they would sort them out straight away.

A unique experience. Fabulous views and tastefully decorated accommodation. Simon and Sam were wonderful hosts.

The only single criticism would be the steep access lane which is a bumpy ride up and down. Having said that the owners are planning to tackle that problem very soon. Other than this it would be a perfect 10 score.

We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather and were served a delicious breakfast on our terrace each morning at a time to suit us and a great choice of what we would like. Location was stunning!

bespoke vegan breakfast, amazing views, wonderful tin bath with amazing view. Peaceful location with very nice walk alongside the canal into Llangollen town. Easy parking outside room. Attention to detail regarding decor and facilities.

Sign on main road is too small so easy to miss and drive past. The up hill driveway needs to be flattened out a little for small cars.
