What a great holiday weekend spent at this quaint little cottage. Was great meeting up with the owner one morning. Just couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful couple of days!!!

Very nicely appointed and clean. Stylishly decorated in keeping with its quaint Rockport location. The spiral staircase could be a little challenging....here's a crazy idea I had. How about a dumb waiter installed next to it - would require an opening in the ceiling and sofa would have to be moved closer to the TV - I know, I know, a bit radical and the staircase should never be considered a game-changer for this nice getaway place.

From the moment we opened the door we knew we chose well! What a wonderful little cute cottage! Decoration, flooring, furniture, everything is so well harmonized. We didn't need to buy anything, aside from food. The Welcome gift was a very nice detail. This was our first-time visiting Rockport and what a whimsical place to relax, walk and do some sea glass hunting! We were blessed with extraordinary weather! This is the post gorgeous and unique place with a perfect hidden location. Owner is amazing, she helped to make our Anniversary weekend perfect. Inside is so pretty and unified and the outside was beautiful with a gorgeous private patio area.

We enjoyed our time here Perfect amount of space for two and centrally located to everything in Rockport. The bed was very comfortable too!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Rockport - the house was clean and well equipped with everything we could have needed, plus some lovely welcome gifts and snacks too. It's really well located in the middle of Rockport.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We have been to Rockport many times for day trips. Occasionally we are able to stay over for the weekend. This was our first time at Periwinkle Cottage #2 and really enjoyed our stay. It was one of the cleanest, if not the cleanest, places I have ever stayed. The attention to detail made us feel very welcomed. The proximity to all the shops/restaurants is terrific as we never had to worry about parking, we just walked from the cottage.

Owner could not have been nicer, and the amenities and extras were wonderful. But the space was very tight and the circular staircase so narrow it was hard to maneuver up and especially down. Tiny kitchen was very cramped and hard to work in, but owner provided everything needed there, too. Great attention to details, and very accessible. Just small spaces!

The Periwinkle Cottage is on a quiet side street, and a short walk to town center with all the shops and restaurants. The unit is clean, comfortable and well-equipped for solo or coupled travelers. It was a very enjoyable stay.

We have traveled a lot but I could not get over how beautiful Rockport was! Everywhere you looked could be a postcard!!! Periwinkle cottage perfect for two and was the icing on the cake!!!

The trip started as a tuna hater but we found so much more. Periwinkle cottage is one of the cutest places we have ever stayed! Periwinkle cottage is simply magical! It is an oasis of comfort and beauty. The gardens are so beautiful and soothing. The immaculate cottage is loaded with charm and many amenities, all designed for the guests' comfort. The location is in walking distance to downtown Rockport, walking paths etc. Perfect place for a couple's getaway!

We had such an amazing stay. I can't suggest this place enough. The location is spectacular, the property manager was communicative and kind, and the actual cottage was the most charming, relaxing home away from home we could have dreamed of. We plan on coming back as often as we can!

In a nutshell: absolutely charming! The layout is beautiful (I want that bedroom with a skylight!) and the line of windows overlooking the backyard is a great reading spot. And who doesn’t love a spiral staircase! Our first day was during a noreaster and it was covy to sit on the couch overlooking the trees blowing in the wind with the provided tea, coffee or cocoa options. All of the kitchen amenities were there if we wanted to cook or just set up a nice takeout meal from one of the local restaurants (hats off to Blue Lobster Grille and the biggest lobster BLTs we’ve ever had!). The bed was very comfortable as well as the living room to cozy up and watch a movie. If the weather was warmer for grilling and sitting outside it looks like it would have been fun to sit out and enjoy the foliage, and the table and grill were conveniently located near the kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and walking into the town center was an easy stroll past charming houses and municipal buildings. A heads up a lot of things close on the earlier side, so if you’re from the city plan your dinner time wisely! If we had to make any suggestions, maybe an option to log into your own Netflix or Amazon acct to watch shows and movies? Rockport has a lovely charm about it and we’re glad to have found another part of our home state to love.

This is an adorable getaway tucked into a beautiful garden. It feels a bit lit a storybook and was a pleasure to spend a few days in! The kitchen is tiny but functional, so I wouldn't advise trying to make elaborate meals. The bed is comfortable, the home is clean, the internet was great for video conferencing, and there are a lot of little treats and treasures tucked away for guests to enjoy. It was very thoughtfully appointed. Definitely 5 stars!

Flawless cottage. Clean, cozy, sweet and easy walking distance to downtown Rockport. The cottage was full of extras I didn't know I needed that made it so welcoming and fun.

The Periwinkle Cottage is even cuter in person! The owner has added many extra touches which makes this cottage extra special. Very convenient location, walking distance from downtown Rockport and only about 10 minutes to Gloucester. Clean, well stocked and comfortable. I highly recommend this rental to any couple looking to stay in Rockport.

This was a great place for a couple. Rosemarie has thought of everything. It's spotless, well equipped, an easy walk to town center/wharf and restaurants. We'll be back.

Spent 2 nights at the cottage celebrating our anniversary and could not be happier. Quiet, private location steps from town, we had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. Wish we had stayed longer and hope to be back!
