Really good layout, bright and light, well decorated. All mod cons you’d want in a great location. Very comfortable beds and good bathroom and en suite facilities. Coffee machine was a great touch!

That I only stayed one night

We liked that we could check out earlier than the website says. We had a day planned where we needed to be out earlier than 10 which was made easy by the owner of the property.

We booked with booking.com who double booked us so we didn’t get to stay at Tuscany lodge, we was placed in a smaller lodge called Maytree. The lady owning both properties was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The lodge was small and hard to walk down the corridors, the beds were small and the shower cubicle you couldn’t turn round in without hitting your elbows on the wall. We tried to cook a meal in the oven which wasn’t efficient and didn’t get to a high enough temperature so ended up frying dinner instead. The messaging service for booking.com does not work as I never received any messages from the owner regarding the stay and being double booked and giving me check in details.

Gorgeous lodge, so comfortable and well equipped. Karen is a lovely host and has made sure that all details are perfect and everything is taken care of. 1 night wasn’t enough and I will return next year for a week.

Absolutely stunning lodge cabin! Clean with a Scandinavian beach white wash feel. Every single thing thought out. Plug sockets in the right places - comfortable mattresses - powerful shower - all cutlery / crockery there.
