Great swimming pool ! the breakfast buffet could improve greatle

This was a one night stay close to the airport. The hotel was just okay for that purpose. It was supposedly a newer hotel but it seemed older and not modernized. It was conveniently located and connected to another hotel via a cat walk so you could eat and shop without leaving the property if you didn’t have transportation. There was a $7.00 pp charge to use their shuttle to go to the hotel but it was easy to reserve. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They do only offer one free breakfast per room and it cost I believe $14 for each other person so be aware of that. They are connected to some restaurants, a casino and then a Dennys is just on the other side. All walkable. It’s off season so a lot of food options weren’t available and they only had 1 washer and 2 dryers for the entire property. There’s a golds gym sharing a parking lot and Holiday Inn is on the other side. Overall for a one night stay it was fine.

Love this hotel. So comfy and clean. 2nd time staying here and definitely would again. The jacuzzi is amazing and the pool area is beautiful

Had a great time staying here. The staff was great and the food options within the hotel were delicious. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was so helpful and I'll definitely stay here again.

Older but well layed out well...hotel sharing many amenities and grounds with Holiday Inn...not fancy but overall good place great helpful staff

This building belonged to the old Holiday inn. They still share amenities, but the building itself is in bad shape compared to the one managed by Holiday inn.
The Hotel Irazu is nice for the price.

This property is nice to look at, with it's beautiful pool and outdoor seating . Besides that, there is not much to it.It is not close to any outdoor attractions that Costa Rica is known for.

Excellent stay. It is physically linked to the Holiday Inn express. Multiple choices for food including a Dennys and Subway at walkable distance. There is also a supermarket nearby. If you feel lucky, there is a casino next door

Great Property. Close to all of the cool places to see by San Jose. Great pool, place was clean, and free access to Gold's Gym across the parking lot. I would definitely stay here again.

This was an easy stay and close to medical amenities (the purpose of staying). One word of caution, the location on Google Maps and Waze is wrong. Its behind the condo complex it takes you to. Its also pretty convoluted getting there when there is traffic and construction. Someone from the organization should update the location. Thanks!

I've been staying here for 20 years, it used to be The Best Western Irazu but now it's a Holiday Inn and Irazu hotel and suites. The pool area is great and the bar and restaurant is nice also there is a Megasuper next door and the Casino is nice and has great food

The staff here are awesome!! Very informative and helpful. I arrived extremely early for check-in and they were very helpful at getting me into a room as quickly as possible. I was thankful for the accommodations and thoughtfulness. They were always eager to please. Definitely will be staying here again..

The room was small but nice, I was missing having a fridge in the room. The balcony was enjoyable and the room cleaning staff were excellent , the location was great, close the restaurants and a small grocery store
