Excellent!!!

Very clean and professional.

A lovely hotel situated in the heart of the historic center. I loved the view from the balcony of the castle above. A wonderful homebase while exploring all that Sintra has to offer.

The hotel is truly central - walk out the door and you are at the National Palace and Plaza. The staff was excellent - so accommodating. Everything was grand!

Felt like we were in a story book!

Great place

The check in was not a straight forward. We were stuck on the road for almost 15 minutes not knowing what to do.Prior to that,They’ve sent me a link to get an access code to open the barrier on the entrance. I don’t check my emails whilst on my vacation. Not recommending this place.

What an amazing town and amazing hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful and helped round out a most perfect stay in Sintra. The room was spacious, clean and welcoming. Provided a 'welcome' snack and bottle of wine which just shows a lot of class and made them stand out among the hotels we've stayed at along the way. Highly recommend.

Shower floods. WIFI unreliable. Air conditioning not capable of cooling down room.

Great service nice welcoming

Great location, hotel was great, room a little outdated. Wooden floors and my feet were dirty after taking a shower and walking to the bed. Breakfast was great too.

Super nice staff. Very helpful. My only recommendation is that the breakfast selection was not as good as other NH PROPERTIES

Great rooms and view. Quiet rooms. Gym was a plus. Trusted them with the luggage.

We have recently returned from a 3 night stay, the hotel is centrally located and the majority of the tourist attractions in the area are nearby. We flew into Lisbon, travelling to Sintra via train but later found thanks to the staff, that using the Uber service is very cost effective and a more convenient option. The staff we encountered were very friendly, and willing to assist when needed which made our stay even better. A special mention to the bar staff who catered for our every need (thanks for the Portuguese Disaronno!) whilst we spent a number of hours watching the beautiful sunset from the terrace, overlooking the valley below which is an advantage for this hotel. Our room was sizeable with a terrace overlooking the Palacio Nacional De Sintra, with comfortable amenities. The breakfast offering was varied, with once again lovely views to start your day.

We had amazing service by Andre at checking. He was super helpful with answering all our questions and giving us a great restaurant for dinner. Super nice guy and really make a Lasting impression on us

It was in good location, staff were friendly , the room was dusty though.

Jao was an amazing host. Quick to answer every question. Location was perfect for our plans. His place was clean and the view was AMAZING. We will be back.

I was really looking forward to stay at the property since we had stayed in a previous NH hotel in Florence and we had the best time and experience there, unfortunately this property in Sintra was far from that, the hotel needs a major makeover on the outside of the hotel, it looks so rundown and old. The inside is pretty ok but the rooms also need a makeover. The location of the property is not the best since no taxi really go there when you call and Uber. But I do have to said it is close to restaurant and train. The staff where nice too

Worth extra $ to get river view room. Windows have good soundproofing. Great breakfast buffet with coffee machine. Parking 20£/NT but very safe inside hotel’s garage.

Next to the National Palace and steps to central Sintra, NH is a gem and the staff accommodating and friendly. The bathrooms are are a good size while a bit dated however the rest of the experience is excellent.

This was the best place we stayed in Portugal. The staff was super friendly, helpful, welcoming and kind. From the person who checked us in to the bar tenders to the breakfast staff, every encounter was memorable in the best way. The hotel is also very beautiful and conveniently located.
