The hotel is in excellent condition, with lovely decor that is classic with modern accents. It was a very easy walk to the riverfront and dining. Staff as professional and helpful. I never heard anyone else while in our room. The price was reasonable for a nice place with breakfast.

Adorable entry and lobby. Small but cozy and comfortable room. Excellent staff. Perfectly located. Love it! We are in Philly enroute home and made a quick one night stop so my son could see the Bell etc. Could not be better located and he became a US history buff overnight!

You couldn't ask for a better location. The free hot breakfast & room fridge was convenient. They had cookie in the afternoon & on Wednesdays they have a wine/cheese options too. There is always coffee/tea/iced lemon water available in the lobby too. Great place 👍👍

Hotel is located in a less touristy area of Old Town, with the most popular attractions being a couple blocks away. Although the parking is located off premises, the hotel does a great job of explaining the location and process. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly.

Very nice property. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Within walking distance to many historic sites as well as plenty of dining options as well as the riverfront area. We would definitely stay here again.

Call the hotel before you book to make sure the room you’re selecting is correct. I had selected a double queen room and when I got there they said that room doesn’t exist. They gave us a tiny room with a double bed in it. I had to pay an extra $30/night for a room with 2 double beds in it. I raised the issue with Expedia (which took over an hour and a half on my first night there) and they did not agree to refund me the difference. The hotel said it is Expedia’s fault that they had the description and photos wrong. So just check what you’re getting!! Other than that, the hotel is lovely. It is in the perfect spot for accessing all of the historical sights by foot. It is also central to many dining options and even the CVS on Market Street. The location is just perfect if you’re there to explore the history of Philadelphia. It is very clean, and the staff were mostly very polite and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day and it’s open until 10am so you don’t have to get up super early if that’s not your thing. There was always ice water with lemon in the lobby which was so welcome after a day of exploring in the summer heat. They also have cookies in the afternoon and on Wednesdays there’s wine and cheese which was a lovely treat. Aside from the initial mixup with the room rate, I don’t have anything bad to say about the hotel.

Excellent stay at the Independence Park Hotel. Our room was newly renovated and in pristine condition. The location was perfect for touring around and close to many restaurants, exhibits, and bars. Michael, at reception, was so helpful and nice. He deserves a raise! Would definitely stay here again.

I loved that they lock the property doors before night hits as well as the cleanliness of the establishment. Lots to do all in walking distance. Only thing I did not like is having to find parking in the parking deck around the corner but will stay again!!

Highly recommend this boutique hotel in the heart of Old City. We booked the most inexpensive room with a queen bed, but it was more than adequate for a night. The tall ceilings made the room feel spacious enough. The hotel was spotless and the room was the cleanest I’ve experienced in a very long time. There was no view to speak of, but that was not an issue for a night. Staff was helpful and friendly at every interaction. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of many restaurants and sites. The a/c was adequate and very quiet and the hotel itself was very quiet. No earplugs needed to sleep! We skipped the included breakfast, but it looked above par for a hotel breakfast. There’s no valet parking, but they will give you a pass at check in for a garage about a block and a half away. It was very reasonable at $23/night. You can park in the loading zone in front of the hotel for 30 mins at check in and check out. The nightly rate is quite reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Can’t wait to return!
