Nice, helpful staff, inexpensive and not far from downtown. On the downside - no elevator, vending machines only take $1 bills and no other amenities.

The beds wers terrible, they were the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on. They are covered with plastic making them so noisy.
The website said 'pet friendly' but when we checked in we were directed to a room that was next to a noisy street. And were told that by the front desk that was their preferred pet room.
Im pretty sure i have athlete foot now and I was wearing rubbers shoes, so the tub must carry fungus.
The shower was designed for someone under 5 feet tall.
Free breakfast was a room temperature yogurt, old looking fruit and a prepackaged muffin. The coffee cup was like 6 oz so that was lame.
It was not enjoyable at all.

The carpet in the hall way disgusting. Addicts hanging outside. The bed was so uncomfortable. There was no gym, like they advertised. Bathroom so small it was difficult to close the door.

This property is really old and outdated. The area was really ghetto. It was my fault for not researching enough when I booked it. We needed a place to stay for my son’s Navy graduation and it’s really close. The staff was wonderful but the hotel was terrible.

Carpet dirty in halls. Light wasn’t working in room, phone wasn’t working. Stains in different areas, remote was broke

Property states they had a fitness center. Nope was told oh no it’s under construction! Room was only cleaned once in the 3 nights we were there.

I stayed for 3 nights from 8/14-8/17/24. My son graduated from The Navy Boot Camp. I liked that it was minutes away from the ceremony. Also minutes away from stores a places to eat. The staff was very nice and friendly. The hallway carpet was dirty, but the rooms were very clean. I will recommend this facility for a brief stay in Great Lakes, Illinois.

The room was nice and cleaned ... plenty of towels & toilets paper... the bed was very firm(mighty I add is the way I like a bed too be)... over all i have too say ... I would stay at this location again

The staff was very nice. The restaurant in the parking lot was delicious. The rooms were exactly like the pictures, clean, quiet, it was overall very nice.

Everything was great. Only 3 things could use some attention. The hallway carpets need a cleaning, people in parking lot asking for money and the flag out front needs replaced as its torn in several spots. Would definitely visit again if i travel that way.

The staff was amazing. Accommodating us every time we asked for something. The room itself and the area wasn’t the best. But for the money, a good, easy option!

Pictures definitely do the place justice. The area in general is pretty odd for a hotel. And the smell in the hotel and rooms were just awful. But it wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed…

While the room we stayed in was pretty clean and updated the common areas, foyer, hallways, etc seemed very old and outdated. There was a distinct dirty carpet smell throughout I'm sure due to the fact that the carpet was very dirty looking and widely stained. We arrived after a long car ride close to 10pm at night to be told that our reservation (made through Expedia) wasn't in their system. This problem took 30 minutes to solve while we tiredly waited holding our bags. Overall, not super satisfied. The only redeeming thing was the room was decent for the price.

There was no bar soap so bring your own. The noise was rather bad. Our room was on the first floor, next door was a big group with a baby and we heard them most of the night. We could also hear people talking outside our window.

Only muffins and store bought doing nuts, juice and coffee. Not a real continental breakfast. Hallway carpets are gross but otherwise was clean and acceptable for the price. Staff was great!

Quite rate is high as the amenities is not as worth the price and I feel in the other bed seems I have insect bites and I used the other bed.

We did have an issue with the people across the hall it was a family in 3-4 different rooms I had verbal altercation several times. It was 1:30am and they were running the halls yelling screaming we did not get to sleep at all.

Good: Convenient to the base.
Poor: The MVA is too close to the property and causes shady people to approach Hotel guests for money. Perhaps the hotel should employee security. The area is unsafe!!!

The hotel was inexpensive and clean. Staff was friendly. My only issue was the breakfast; only juice, coffee, and packaged muffins were set out. That does not consistute a breakfast. We went to the store and brought back food to make a real meal in the room microwaves.
Aside from that, we had a good experience.

Ilove the location and the area , the only thing i hate about it , they supposed to clean the room for the sexond day and night we stayed but we beg for it to clean … the lady that was working was not helpful at all the reception…i dont know her name but the other one was helpful the one we checked in with
