The lap pool was terrific, breakfast omelette (in food area) superb. That said, we had a room next to the loudest hotel party (which began with a huge fight) imaginable. We called the desk twice, to no avail. The room was the smallest we've ever had at a Marriott, but adequate. We liked being able to join the Marriott customers' club (??) and then not having to pay for parking.

Courtyards are typically comfy and executed well and this place was no exception however I’m a bit baffled why no one was ever at the bistro when I went get a small bite for dinner at 7pm and was there to grab coffee on the morning at 6:30 and still it was closed. They also need to get rid of the old school toilets that roll round and round forever after flushing,..time to upgrade to ones that suck everything down in a powerful whoosh!

Rooms are comfortable but not clean above eye level. Mirror in bathroom had a thick coat of dust. The bistro area is a great space but very dirty. The floors had food and crumbs under the furniture (3 days in a row) and the tables aren’t wiped down well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long visit to the hotel. All the reception staff were kind, helpful and a pleasure to engage with. Our room faced a charming duck pond and we liked using the hot tub at night. Its a pleasing setting close to some shops and the food on site was good.

The room was very nice as was the property overall. Situated on a nice little park with a duck pond. Perfect for walking my dog. My only complaint is that while the website says it is pet friendly they do not indicate anywhere. What the fee for having a dog day is. And that it must be upon approval. When I arrived with my dog, I was told it was $150. I do expect to pay a fee for my dog, but I would like to see it upfront and included in my bill or at least clearly indicated as to what I will be paying. I don’t like surprises when traveling.

There was mold all in the grout in the bath tub. Yucky
The bathtub had no pressure of water and on the other side of the wall on the ground the carpet was soaked with a lot of water.
They have slider doors into bathroom that you ca t close all the way.

Quick check-in, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Wonderful customer service from front desk agents, particularly from Joh.
CONS:
Blackout curtains did not meet at the middle, so light still came in. A/C unit was extremly loud when it kicked on, so I had to keep off at night.

We were told on check in we would have maid service every other day. We never received maid service our entire 4 day stay.
Our last full day at the hotel, I specifically asked the front desk to have the room cleaned before 2PM that afternoon when we left for breakfast. We were gone all day and returned at 3:30 to clean up for my 50th year high school reunion. On of the maid staff came to our room while we were getting ready. I asked her to come back in 1 hour. when we returned from the reunion activities, at 10PM, the room had not been cleaned.
This entire experience was not acceptable. We will most likely never stay at a Marriott property again.

This is my go to property when I come to a golf tournament in San Diego every year. It’s convenient, nicely maintained and close to a shopping center.. the Bistro on the property comes in handy if you want a quick bite and don’t feel like driving.

The room never cooled down, our sofa bed was stuck and the manager came to help and he had issue with it, the bathtub was dirty, like it hadn’t been scrubbed, our toilet handle to flush was loose and the key pad to our room wasn’t functioning. Had to wait for maintenance to replace the batteries in it.

Clean room! Not a speck of any previous occupant. Staff were friendly. Bartender Chris was super helpful. The neighborhood was fantastic. Quiet and clean. Will stay here EVERY TIME I'm in town.

Hotel is great looks nice and has a great feeling customer service is great at helping you with things you might need during your trip. The king room i got is a bit small but has a nice new look to it and another bad thing would be that in the pictures the pool actually looks bigger rather when you get here its quite small.

We were excited to stay at this hotel. It is very nice looking and the staff was very helpful. However, nobody informed us at time of booking that the water would be off. No warnings the day off either. We showed up from the Safari park and couldn't use the bathrooms because no water was in our room. We had to go across the street to the shopping centereverytime someone needed to use the restroom. A bit of warning and we would've been out most of the day instead of returning to our room. Other than that, the hotel and staff were fine.
