We stayed at a smoking room which we didn’t want to. It was only smoking room available since we wanted to stay four of us together. Although I receive an email saying the hotel would do their best to eliminate the smoke, the strong smoking smell did stay. The cigarette stains in the bathroom was obvious and our stay was uncomfortable.

A landmark building in Shin-Yokohama but very dated building, with constant reminders of former glory. 43 floors with hollow center with rooms on the outside. Rooms are small, limited power plugs, no USB, and dated bathroom. My floor (14th) had fated carpet and a space where the old ice machine used to be.
5 mins walk to the station so many shops and restaurant options. Unfortunately not connected so you will get wet if it’s raining.
Buffet breakfast is excellent so highly recommend to get the breakfast option.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful! My room was amazing and had a great view! So many restaurants nearby and great photo opportunities everywhere! I will be staying here next time!

Fantastic location - 3 minute walk from subway/train station, McDonald’s just 2 minutes outside, attached shopping. Room décor very outdated. Nice firm bed but space design not very smart. No drawers whatsoever to store stuff. From our room on 39th floor, the view of Yokohama city is wonderful

We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel which included the buffet breakfast. Excellent selection of food and vegetables. Very well organized with helpful staff. We highly recommend this hotel.

The 3 pm check in is set in stone …rooms are small and not great communication from staff .hotel is well placed in that it’s right next to key rail connections .Plenty of food options in the neighbourhood .

I LOVE this hotel. This was my 3rd time staying and I will certainly stay here again. Fantastic service, super convenient shopping, convenience store, and walkable to the station. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel.

Second part of my stay for Christmas/New Years holiday required me to change rooms. The room itself was still very spacious; the bathroom was a little more compact, but still very usable. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to visiting again in the near future!

An 'older' hotel but still great for connection to the Shinkansen. Some rooms have a view t the Shinkansen tracks. great buffet breakfast.

The property is very convenient and it was highly recommended. However, the ac didnt work and one of the lights in the bathroom didnt work. Someone came to check on our ac. Instead of turning on the ac, he ended up turning on heater instead. One of the most important amenities at a hotel is there ac. Disappointed that it didnt work and the guy made it hotter

Train station is a 3 minute walk away. Convenience stores very close by. Staff are very helpful and can communicate in English. I really appreciate the staff that took the time to help me with my baggage transport to my next hotel, she even helped fill out the form for me. Breakfast was excellent, wide variety of foods to choose from, even western style foods.
