This property was extremely dated and the room did not smell good. I would not stay again.

older property, but the rooms are clean, beds are comfy, location is great for Hawkeye events and staff was helpful.

My only complaint was that the resort of a musty smell when we got to our room. Other than that I had an absolutely fantastic time, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very decent for a hotel breakfast. Overall I definitely enjoyed my stay

Walking distance to the river landing district where there were nice restaurant options. Otherwise fine, nothing spectacular but nothing horrible to complain about either.

This ;property is located in somewhat of a run-down area of Coralville, i.e., our back view was a tank farm and we were just far enough off of the main drag, that the landscxaping, and building condition of other properties in the area next door, was somewhat sketchy.. However, it was clean and the lobby and gathering area where breakfast was served was appropriately kept up. It also looks like even though the property appears to be fairly old, that repairs, painting, etc. have been kept up. The main problem I had with our room was that it stunk like cigar smoke at the entrance to the room. Smell was horrible. I am not an anti-smoking zealot. If it was a faint smell I wouldn't even be reporting this or making this complaint about the room. We are scheduled to return to the same hotel at a later football game in October and I assume we will not be greeted with the same smell. For what it is worth, the free breakfast was appropriate as well and I had no complaints.

Our room stinks of dampness and mold.. The bathroom door and our room door didn’t shut properly.

Overall it was great, the only bad thing was the pull out couch was dirty on the inside it would be nice to be compensated in someway.Management does have a picture on file and said it was Hotels.com to make it right.

Very convenient to I-80. Room was very nice, updated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, not the best I have seen at a hotel chain, but I would definitely say good. Would stay again.

Was an excellent place to stay for us in Iowa City for a visit with our daughter.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. I was at the end of the hall near the door and it was a little noisy with people going in and out until about 11. It was clean and air conditioning was good. I think the carpets had just been cleaned and the smell from the chemicals was a bit much

As much as I wanted to give a bad review of my stay that isn’t what is deserved. Upon checking in my room had a strong smell. Pretty much like someone had smoked in there and the cleaner tried masking the smell by over spraying it with some sort of spray. I immediately brought it to the attention of the front desk attendant. He suggested that we open up the windows for a bit. Then, as we were leaving out to find food we discovered that the fridge didn't work. Now this is where I wanted to give a bad review however, the front desk attendant listened to my concerns about that strong smell that was unbearable even after about an hour or so and also the broken fridge and so he gave us a different room. Overall this hotel has nice staff. Newer renovations. Clean. Great shower. And a nice breakfast selection! Sorry no photos

Bathroom tile ledge was extremely dirty Only one bar of soap was provided. Two lamps had light bulbs burned out…

It was an okay place to sleep for a few nights while I visited the u of I hospital. Breakfast was good. Place is a bit out dated and could use a little work. Couldn’t figure out the tv. Remote didn’t even turn it on

It seems like they might be trying to update the property, but it needs work. There was a very strong sewer gas smell in the hallways that lingered into our room. The pool room has such a musty/moldy smell to it that i could not stand to even be in there, it was horrible!

I needed an early check in and late checkout…they were very accommodating. I was stranded and had to wait for my son to come from Montana to tow my car. I had my dog with me. It is a pet friendly motel. Hot breakfast was good.
